Location Parking Good bed Bakery just across the road

Too much of lock up and lock, lockup and lock... There are plates, glasses and cutlery but nowhere to sit. Poor drainage in the shower. Arrogant attitude of the landlord when there was a problem with the lock to the backyard.

Nice place to stay, shame it was so warm

Clean, modern apartment. Extra large. Well fitted out.

It was very hot, even though it wasn’t that warm outside. The windows open onto the street and it’s noisy through the night. Made sleeping difficult. Also we couldn’t get the wifi to work.

Excellent stop to catch ferry to Denmark

Very good instructions by email from the host on where to park and how to collect key, with code to lock box in a separate email. Message from host was in German, which wasn't a problem for me, but could be for a UK guest. Parking was behind the property, so easy to get luggage to & from. We were on 2nd floor, but beware that there is no lift. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge+ small freezer box, and kitted out for 2 people. Unit was nicely furnished and clean, with a separate bathroom. Also very close to an attractive, busy main street with lots of eateries. 10-15 min drive to catch ferry to Denmark

Liked the location. Very convenient with regards to getting to nice places around and easy to get in and out of town. So conveniently located.

The cleanliness

The apartment was very bland. No pictures or features, just grey walls. Very complicated to get in. You need tocollect keys from a safe at the front door. Then you need to park the car in another street at the back of the building and use another key to grt through a side passage and then get in the front door.

The room was very clean and of a suitable size. Properly equipped kitchen area. Coffee and tea making utensils are a nice addition. Checking in was easy. There were nice restaurants nearby. There were parking spaces for hotel residents in the backyard. I recommend.

Nice place for a short visit or stop over - double check key pick up info as it may be outdated!

As we stayed here before we knew what to expect, only this time we stayed in apartment 3 on the 2nd floor under the roof. Apartment 3 does not have any cooking facilities and we were informed about this by the host. It did not matter as we only had a stopover on the way to Denmark. If you want to stay longer and self-cater make sure you get an apartment with cooking facilities, albeit these are basic. The room has a coffee machine with capsules which is convenient in the morning. Location si good, lots of eateries around and I only noticed this time that the/a branch of the Fehmarn Tourist Information is right opposite to the building, so that’s very convenient if you need information.

Important: The key pick information you receive by the host may be outdated! In the confirmation mail the host informed u the lock box is behind a door in between the apartment building and the neighbouring house. This was correct for our previous stays (2020) The key lock box location has changed and is now in form of the house, so make sure you first go to the front, pick up the key and then park the car in backyard. if you don’t have a key you can't come to the front of the building as the gate (on the right side) is locked and you would have to walk approx. 1.5 km around the block to come to the front. On the way out, make sure to pick up your car, then go to the front and drop the key.

Friendly and helpful host, clean apartment, nice bathroom, easy way to take the key, parking fine. The only thing it was cold when we arrived and the door downstairs was smacking so loudly that we would wake up every time. In rest, I recommend it! Sweet location, bakery, cafe near.

Schönes Apartment

Die Buchung und auch das einchecken war unkompliziert. Das Apartment war gut ausgestattet und die Lage zur Innenstadt war super. Wir sind 2 ältere Menschen und würden nächstes Mal lieber im Erdgeschoss wohnen, da es bis zum 2. Stock doch etliche Stufen (kein Fahrstuhl) sind. Aber sonst war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Da im Apartment ein großes Geschirrspüler ist, hätte ich mir ein wenig mehr Besteck (Brotmesser fehlt) gewünscht.

Übernachtung im Kalten

Lage, unkomplizierte Schlüsselübergabe, geräumige kleine Appartements

31. Oktober, ein Regentag, herbstlich-feuchtkalt. Wir baten den Vermieter am frühen Nachmittag, die Heizung in den Zimmern bitte einzuschalten. Es kam dann der Anruf, die Heizungen seien defekt, der Service Versuche, sie wieder zu aktivieren. Dann die Rückmeldung, sie funktionieren. Als wir gegen 18:30 in die Zimmer kamen, waren diese ganz ausgekühlt, in einem der Zimmer war einer der beiden Heizkörper auf "2", der andere ausgestellt, so auch die im Bad. Im anderen Apparemment waren beide ausgeschaltet, der eine der beiden, so stellte sich heraus, blieb kalt. Wir gingen bis 21:30 zum Abendessen, um die Zimmer zu wärmen, kamen zurück, das Zimmer mit der einen verbliebenen Heizung blieb mehr oder minder kalt, das zweite war das, was man früher "überschlagen" nannte. Keine Gemütlichkeit, keine wohlige Atmosphäre. Und auf die Rückmeldung zu diesem Missstand keine Antwort vom Vermieter. Es ist unklar, was an der Bitte, die Heizung, nachdem sie kontrolliert war, auch anzumachen nicht verstanden wurde, ein ganz schlechter Service. Das Auschecken um 10:00 Uhr ist eigentlich auch nicht wirklich eine gängige Auscheckzeit. 11:00 sollte auch genügen, um die Zimmer für die Nächsten startklar zu machen, zumal auch Gäste freiwillig sogar vor 10 Uhr anreisen.

Hade några sköna dagar med härligt höstväder.

Bageri andra sidan gatan. Gångavstånd till det mesta. Bra parkering på baksidan. Flertal restauranger i närheten. Sköna sängar.

Fattades disktrasa så man kunde torka av bänk och bord. Saknade brödkniv och bara 1 glas i badrummet. Kaffe maskinen blir dåligt varm och ger svagt kaffe.

Sehr gut gelegenes, schönes Appartement mit geringen (leicht abstellbaren) technischen Mängeln.

Exzellente Sauberkeit, moderne und geschmackvolle Einrichtung, sehr bequemes großes Bett, großzügiges und modernes Bad/WC, ansprechende Raumgröße, ebenso zweckmäßige wie geschmackvolle Geschirrausstattung. Kaffeepads, Tee, Zucker und Milch kostenfrei durch Vermieter. Guter und reservierter Parkplatz hinter dem Haus. Gute Bäckerei und Pizzaria direkt gegenüber.

Abfluss der Spüle nicht verschließbar (defekt) und Geschirr deshalb nur sehr eingeschränkt spülbar. Toilettensitz nur mit einer Schraube befestigt (konnte ich selbst reparieren), Schlüssel / Schloss der Durchgangstür zum Parkplatz hakelig bis zur Unbrauchbarkeit - habe mehrere Minuten gebraucht um die Tür auf- oder zuzuschließen UND den Schlüssel wieder aus dem Schloss zu bekommen. Fehlende Kochmöglichkeit ist unverständlich, steht aber klar in den Vorabinformationen. Ein Herd oder eine Microwelle statt der familientauglichen Spülmaschine wäre ein Gewinn. Keine telefonische Erreichbarkeit / kein Rückruf des Vermieters als Code für Schlüsselsafe auch am Mittag des Vortages noch nicht eingegangen war. Code kam dann zeitgerecht, aber keine Informationen im Vorfeld zum Zeitpunkt des Versandes.

Sauberes zentralgelegenes Appartement

Wir haben dieses Appartement in diesem Ort als Zwischenübernachtung gewählt, um die Fähre Dänemark frühstmöglich zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft hatte einen Parkplatz, der über eine abschließbaren Hintertür zu erreichen war, was beim Ein- und Auschecken umständlich war. Ansonsten war es für unsere Bedürfnisse eine gute Unterkunft, die wir gern weiter empfehlen. Ergänzend: Föhn war vorhanden

Vi har bott här flera gånger och återkommer gärna!

Lägenheten är mitt inne i centrala Burg och det är nära till det mesta. Bra parkeringsmöjligheter på baksidan ingår. Bra och rymlig lägenhet. Rent och fräscht. Nära till morgonöppna caféer och restauranger. På cykel-/promenadavstånd finns Südstrand för de som vill bada och sola.

Det är en rak, men ganska smal trappa upp till lägenheterna, vilket kan ställa till problem för de som har svårt att röra sig. Lägenheten är ej utrustad för annan matlagning än värma vatten i kanna eller göra kaffe med maskin. Detta informeras tydligt om i meddelande från värden och det får man acceptera.

Info zum Zugang fehlten zunächst. Haben Vermieter angerufen, auch wegen Parkplatz- umfassende Klärung erfolgte. Ansonsten tolle Lage, sauber, schön möbliert, gute Betten - ziemlich perfekt!

Angenehmes Apartment mitten im Städtchen

Super Lage mitten im Städtchen. Unzählige Restaurants in unmittelbarer Nähe. Auch vom Bahnhof gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Grösse des Apartments angenehm für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt. Alles sauber und gepflegt, stilvoll eingerichtet. Wir fanden es ruhig (Zimmer war nicht gegen Strasse ausgerichtet). Betten waren schön weich.

Den Code haben wir nicht automatisch erhalten. Ich musste vor Ort den Vermieter anrufen und nachfragen. Er war dann jedoch gleich erreichbar und es hat dann auch geklappt. Trotzdem war das ein kleiner Stressfaktor bei der Ankunft. Die WLAN-Verbindung war in unserem Zimmer unstabil. Am besten hat es im Badezimmer funktioniert.

Top Unterkunft. Nespresso Maschine und Kapseln waren vorhanden. Die Lage in Burg ist unschlagbar. Gegenüber ist gleich ein Bäcker.
