About this house rental
Charlie’s place is a 2 bedroom, one bath guest suite, with a spacious living room, AND kitchen. Rental includes access to an awesome lounge patio and Grill with a private pool that our guests can share with the residents of the home. It’s Located in a great safe neighborhood within walking distance of the lake, and it’s only be a short drive away from downtown Nashville, BNA, major shopping malls, and much more. Being right outside of music city you’ll be close enough to join in all the fun, but just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville to be able to get some real R&R.

Great location in a beautiful community. Pool was closed for the season. However, had a great time visiting with the Host. Charlie and partner are full of local knowledge! Thank you for sharing with us ! Will be our destination should we be in the area again!

Amazing! We wanted relaxation at the place we stayed- with a chill pool. We got that and so much more! Yes- it’s a bit from downtown Nashville- never had a problem getting an Uber/lyft. Then had an oasis in the country. Delivery of groceries is possible- but don’t plan on walking for items or to restaurants. Charlie has put so much thought into your stay there! Details that make your trip more memorable. It’s like you are staying with a friend. If you are lucky you will leave with new friends and like us- knowing you will be back at Charlie’s Place. Charlie, Richard, and Pearl added to an amazing first VRBO vacation for our 25th anniversary.

Fully equiped, could use kleenex in bathroom.We were so busy that we did not have time for the pool. We had a wonderful stay.

Let me first say that when we arrived everything was great, I loved the spot as well as the location of this rental.
Cut to day two, my SIL and her husband had a rough night on the mattress in the main room as it was hard and squeaky. I noticed that the host had mentioned to some reviewers that they should have just messaged her about any issues and they would’ve been handled. So I messaged her, asking if she by chance had a mattress topper. The only response I received back was ‘no’. I said I gotcha. We can pile some blankets up, should be ok. Well apparently she took that as there was a problem. As we headed out to go to dinner, she came running down her deck stairs to confront us. She got very defensive asking what the problem was, which I told her that I think she took what I said the wrong way and that there wasn’t a problem. She continued to defend her mattress saying there’s nothing wrong with it, it’s new and great, that we could just go spend $500 on a hotel room if it’s a problem. We had to tell her multiple times that there wasn’t a problem. We were so in shock by this interaction that we contemplated leaving and going elsewhere, but decided to just deal since we were only there 2 more days. she has full control of the A/C and would have it down chilly all day and would turn it up at night. We just dealt with it and left 2 days later. The toilet was also loose but I didn’t want to message her again. She’d have recd 5 stars.. her attitude blew that!
