About this house rental
Buddha Rose in Hepburn Springs is a 1 hour and 20 minute drive from Melbourne CBD. Only 5 mintues drive to Daylesford which is a great base and is still close to the local attractions. Rarely found in the heart of Hepburn Springs this 3 acre block gives you seclusion and privacy in a bush setting and you will be the sole occupants.
Our retreat has a balinesian style and all furnishings have been hand-made and imported from Bali.
Whether you are looking for a getaway to enhance intimacy and romance, have a break with the family or a group of friends, Buddha Rose can cater for every occaision.
We have the option of a "couple stay" or we offer a stay of up to 8 guests. Rates are listed in the pricing and please see 'Pricing" for small to larger groups.
It is a perfect place to unwind, escape the hussle and bustle of the city, why not treat yourself to some relaxation and enjoy a good nights sleep in the tranquility of the bush setting.
You will have a haven of tranquility to help you escape from your busy daily routine and slow down for a while. Shake off the stress, rejuvenate, recover, recharge your mind, body and spirit, reflect, get back to nature and leave any disharmony of the outside world behind. From the moment you arrive until you leave you will love the experience.
If you wish, you can simply do nothing, have breakfast in bed, enjoy the rural tranquility at the property and watch the abundant bird life, ducks, kanagroos frequenting the property, read a book, watch a movie, laze about on the day beds, decks, hammock, gazebo soak up the sunrays and de-stress, breathe in the fresh air and unwind. Or call a local mobile therapist to come to treat you in house. Or perhaps, watch the country sunrise and sunset.
At night enjoy a glass of wine in front of a warm roaring fire during winter, sit back and gaze at the stars away from the city lights, have a BBQ on the deck overlooking the bushland or cook up a scumptious meal or a candle lit dinner.
Hepburn Springs is the perfect base for exploring Daylesford and surrounding spa region so if you choose to go out on adventures there is so much to do.

In spring and summer see the amundance of flowers at lovely places such as Lavendula Farm, in Autum enjoy the clear crisp day and in Winter breathe the frosty alpine air.
Go for walks if you are feeling active and get close to nature through the state forest, valleys, streams, waterfalls, visit the famous Blowhole at the end of our street or Breakneck Gorge.
A walk from Buddha Rose in Hepburn to Daylsford will take you 45min - 1 hour
The Daylesford region is renowned for it's Mineral Springs and is the spa country. It has the largest number of naturally occurring Mineral Springs in Australia making it a great place to visit and taste the beautiful spring water, or take a swim at in the Mineral Spring pool in Hepburn Spings.
Wine production in the area is very impressive and the local wineries are most definately worth a visit.
There is also horse riding for the horse enthusiasts.
Visit local art galleries and the famous Convent Gallery.
Local Events all year round.
Eat out at the local cafe and restaurants.
If you like antiques, you will be spoilt with so many places to look around in.

Thanks for sharing this little slice of Hepburn Springs with us. We were thrilled to be able to spend 5 nights here with our two dogs in tow, it was just what we needed. It was very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. For the price we paid, we felt it represented very good value. It was a great set up for both two and four legged guests. We enjoyed the space and made good use of the fireplace to keep the house warm at night. It was reassuring to see other heating options available but we found the well stocked fireplace was plenty enough to keep us cosy in the cool evenings.

Lovely, comfortable house. Came in a very cold period. Variety of heating was fantastic and heated the house very quickly. Great for the dogs, well fenced. Beautiful views from all the windows. Good value for the price. Thank you

Stayed at this beautiful property for 2 nights with 3 friends. Very reasonably priced for what you get. Buddha Rose is on 2 acres, so the surrounding trees, water, & space made for a very relaxing & tranquil weekend. It was lovely seeing the many kangaroos grazing. The interior of the house is tastefully decorated & we enjoyed a lovely fire at night whilst we chatted. It is close to Hepburn Springs & Daylesford so we had plenty of opportunities to dine out. Overall, it was just what we needed & would love to return.
