Stylish studio apartment in the historic tram power station

At the turn of the century, this historic brick building was once an active center of commerce, producing power to the interurban streetcar that ran from Cleveland to Columbus and in between. Come experience a little piece of history by staying in our newly renovated stylish studio apartment, perfect for an overnight stay or extended respite.
This cozy apartment enters through a shared hallway and has been recently updated from floor to ceiling with new cabinetry and renovated kitchen and bathroom. Kitchenette with full refrigerator, apartment size stove, microwave, granite counter tops, and Keurig coffee maker. Kitchen is supplied with basic cooking supplies and dishes. Full bath with shower unit. Desk and comfortable office chair are also available in the apartment to accommodate our business travelers. Wifi is available throughout the unit. Washer and dryer are located right outside of unit in central hallway.

Guests can visit the Ohio Light Opera, The College of Wooster, Smucker's in nearby Orrville, great walking, hiking and bike trails, golf at Hawk's Nest (3 miles), local shopping in downtown Wooster and Amish country in nearby Holmes County.

1. There are 3 steps upon entering the building.
2. We have cable TV with high speed wireless internet throughout the unit. Also available is and HDMI cable to use with our 43" TV.
3. While there are other long term tenants in the building, this apartment is in a nice quiet location.
4. Absolutely no smoking or pets.
5. While we don't allow pets in our apartments we would recommend The Pet Hotel in Wooster ( a 5 minute drive away) should you choose to bring your furry family member along. You can find more info at
6. Our apartments are equipped with video surveillance for enhanced security for our guests. There is a security camera located inside the common hallway adjoining the apartments and also in the parking area.
