Villa Esperanza is a luxury condominium in the heart of shopping, dinning, and outdoor activities. Private and quiet condominium! The Mesilla Plaza is surrounded by fine restaurants and shops, and its brick-lined streets have been traveled by characters such as Billy the Kid and Pat Garrett. In nearby Las Cruces, you'll find a friendly town with a large university, theaters, restaurants, golf courses, hospitals and all types of civic events. Of course, Las Cruces has many stores and shopping malls, and a new shopping center located close to the community. El Paso and Juarez, Mexico are 40 miles south, and fishing, horse racing, boating and Casino Apache are all within easy driving distance. All of this in the most enjoyable climate you can imagine!

Reminded me of Melrose Place b/c the pool was the epicenter of the condos. It was only a few steps away from the door and never crowded. Such a relaxing place. I also had no idea Mesilla was such a culinary hotspot! Gained 4 pounds.😬

The condo and complex were lovely. We had plenty of space and amenities. Loved that there was a washer/dryer in the condo. The pool was clean and kept at a nice temperature. We enjoyed seeing hummingbirds in the tree off the patio and hearing the doves. Great hiking nearby.

Ana our contact person responded quickly to any questions that we had. The picture on the on-line site did not do the Condo justice, it was nicer. The air conditioning worked well and was enhanced by the extremely quiet ceiling fans. It came well equipped for anyone who is used to ALL the amenities of home and we put it to good use. The neighbors were friendly, the area well lit at night. The rental policy of the place was spelled out and understandable. Ana also helped us during an unexpected medical emergency that allowed us to extend our stay. (Even if not possible, we were thankful for her efforts). I agree with other positive reviewers to be diligent in reading all the information. We did check prior reviewers that helped us make this decision. We were glad to have had an enjoyable stay without any discourse and would be willing to again make use of this particular rental site.
