The Stables boasts a fantastic location, within the Forest of Dean. Guests should take a trip to the local Go Ape!. All on the Ground Floor:

There are numerous fun places to visit with attractions such as Go Ape, Puzzlewood, Dean Forest Steam Railway, Dean Heritage Centre, Clearwell Caves and the Sculpture Trail. The cathedral city of Gloucester, Monmouth, Chepstow and the pretty market town of Ross-on-Wye are all within a short drive. We stayed for 3 nights, lovely cottage, great location for everything we wanted to do,( horse riding, canoeing, walking)hot tub a plus at the end of each day!Hosts very friendly.Strongly recommend.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. I had the one bed, with kitchen/lounge and it was small, cute, comfortable and cosy. Would highly recommend staying here and the owners were so lovely and welcoming. The hot tub I never got chance to use but the booking system for it is really. Can’t wait to stay again !
I had my dog with me too and it was comfortable for her too. Perfect spot under the window to put her bed and settle her down.

The property was very well equipped with everything we needed. There were a couple of minor cleanliness issues, which we didn't really need to mention to the owner, but, were nevertheless disappointing. The Hot Tub was really good.
The property is in a good location, with plenty of places to visit within a ten to thirty minute drive. Also, there is a Co-Op store, just two minutes drive away.
