Everything in this accommodation is first class & seems brand new. The rental is a small annex off the main house, seperately accessed by your own door, & is a perfect one bedroom retreat, with everything you need for a beautiful country stay. The view from the living room over the fields out to the hills was very restful. There was a fenced, gravelled yard in case you want to take your dog. The owners left a welcome pack & the fresh flowers were a lovely touch. We were totally impressed with the standard of accommodation and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it for anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

What an amazing spot. The cottage is immaculate so much so I thought we were the first guests to ever use it. It is in a secluded location with the nearest amenities a few miles away, which was just what we were wanted. Fantastic owners who couldn't do enough for us. Definitely recommend.

My wife and I have just returned from a 4 day motoring mini-break in the Scottish Borders. We picked Blueacres as our base as it was central to our travel requirements. The accommodation was excellent, being contemporary, airy, and spotless, with all mod cons and lacking nothing. Linda our host was very friendly and helpful; she obviously has high standards paying a lot of attention to detail in a nice way. A welcome pack was provided on arrival together with dog treats. Fresh flowers added a nice touch making the whole experience very pleasant. Utility services etc were all included in the price with no extras. I have no hesitation in recommending Blueacres as suitable accommodation for a couple (with dog) wanting to explore the Borders, it is a little remote, meaning a car is pretty much essential, although the peace and tranquility make it worth it.
