Onar Syros - Rustic Rooms

We booked this hotel at the last minute as we had to change our itinerary on our island hopping holiday. We chose it because it was very close to the port. The reality was it exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious and well decorated. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a 2 night stay and there were nice fluffy towels for the bathroom. Our room was cleaned each day and the towels were changed. Breakfast was delivered to our room at an agreed time and it was excellent. There was far too much for us to eat and it was better than most hotel buffet breakfasts.

The communal balcony was right outside of our window which did not allow us much privacy, but it did not affect us too much for a 2 night stay. Personally I do not like shower curtains. The one in our bathroom, however, was clean and looked new.

Location and the friendliness of the staff

Shen you shower the whole bathroom is full of water. The bed has wooden poles on the edges where you keep bumping your foot or toes against.

Loved the rustic theme, really unique. Very clean, with lots of extras and 2 bottles of water per day which is very kind. Perfect location, walking distance from everything. Amazing stay!

This hotel was really, really nice. The room was kept very clean, and the bathroom was a large room! Our breakfast was delivered to our door each day at 9:00 am and was amazing!

It took us a little while to find it and we had suitcases on cobblestones. We took a taxi back to the ferry when we left!
