The Hen House is well equipped, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The location is lovely and very peaceful. We really appreciated the delicious DIY breakfasts, with eggs, croissants orange juice and cereals which we ate outside in the garden.

Great location, good communication with host. Great for a couple nights stay as had everything you would need. The little touches of the breakfast goodies , the personal items, mini eggs (!), well stocked kitchenette and basic cooking supplies all appreciated. Very quiet stay. Host nearby if you needed anything but left us to it which was perfect. Very clean and tidy .
The mattress was a little firm for us and dipped in the middle I think it might be wise to keep an eye on it for future replacement . We slept well though! Minor point as I use pillow protectors at home and would expect this as standard in any accommodation - keeps the pillows lasting longer and gives a more hygienic experience for guests. Glad there was an additional heater supplied and a hot water bottle. We used both as it was chilly of an evening .

We loved all aspects of how the rooms were designed and decorated. It had character and ambience. Immaculate and comfortable, everything was catered for, attention to detail was 5 star. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Hen House and hope to return another time.
There was not one thing we disliked about the property! Perfect
