The Hen House

Beautifully appointed and decorated with everything you could need for a comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing stay. Nice touches like cooking ingredients, toiletries and books, maps and DVDs. Proper hospitality! Also great to have a big sofa to relax on as well as the bedroom. Lovely secluded garden to sit out in too. The location was lovely and quiet though just a short walk away from an excellent restaurant pub. Easy access by car to the coast, Chichester and quiet walks in the South Downs. The host, Claire, was kind and communicative.

The mattress was firmer than we would choose. But we still managed to sleep well.

Very cute and comfortable apartment with kitchen and a nice garden. Thoughtful breakfast hamper supplied for our two days. Excellent bed.

Nothing. Only thing to mention is that it’s definitely way easier to stay here if you have your own transport. Part of the beauty is its location out in the sticks, but this of course naturally makes you have to think about your daily „to and from“. This is absolutely not a criticism, we chose the Hen House knowing this, and the positives of the place outweighed this only tiny negative.
