Vacation home for families and groups

Great relaxing stay at Braelingen with my family. Although the property doesn't have a hot tub, the nearby (suprisingly warm) lakes makes up for it. The house has a few things to keep the kids and adults entertained after a day of exploring the local area.

This place is awesome! Almost perfect. Located in a peaceful village surrounded by countryside scenery that is just amazing. The house is huge: On the upper floor, there are 2 large double-bed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, in addition, there is another double-bed bedroom and 2 smaller bedrooms each of which with 2 twin beds. The 3 aforementioned bedrooms share a bathroom, there are also 2 large balconies facing South and North. The middle floor is similar to the upper floor except that the twin rooms are replaced by a double-bed bedroom with an attached smaller bedroom with 2 twin beds and the balconies are facing West and East. On the ground floor, there is a huge dining room capable of sitting 20 people at the same table and another dining area for 8 people. There is also a large living room with huge windows facing the Western view where cows are peacefully roaming the meadows. There is also a restaurant-like kitchen with several work areas, two refrigerators, two dishwashers, plenty of stove area, and a large oven. A microwave and some small kitchen appliances. Two sinks and many cupboards. The kitchen and dining room are equipped with all the necessary sets of plates, silverware, glasses, cups, mugs, utensils, etc. It allows for setting the table for 20 people while the dishwashers are still working on the previous sets (for 20. The ground floor also contains 2 restrooms each with two toilets. The house is very well-heated (we stayed in the first half of October) and the radiators are all over the place. The house was clean and the guidelines set by the owner were reasonable and clear. The is an enormous yard that includes a BBQ and a dining area with a 20-people capacity table. Parking area for 4-5 cars in front of the house and much more in the back but not suitable for rainy days as Regarding the owner and the lady that is the house manager, they were very nice and responsive. They responded immediately to the heating problems that we faced and fixed them on the same day. The drawbacks: [1] The beds and in particular the mattresses - they are simply uncomfortable and I recommend replacing them. As for the beds, they squeak which is a bit annoying. [2] The check-in process involves attendance of the housekeeping lady which is not suitable for all cases - for example, our flight was an hour late and we arrived after 11 PM, we paid extra 100 Euro for the late service, installing a key box would have allowed for special check-in cases.

We had a wonderful stay in the Black Forest and this property was perfect for our needs. It was very clean and the facilities were spot on. It accommodated 14 people easily and the little play area outside was ideal for the younger kids. The local lake was beautiful and the supermarket was only 10 minutes drive away. The owners met us on the first day and explained everything to us thoroughly. They then left us to it for the week and just returned on the last day to pick up the keys. We hadn’t realised that we would be charged a tourist tax in cash when we left but thankfully we had enough cash left to pay! I would thoroughly recommend this property and the Black Forest which is such a beautiful place to visit.

Everything was wonderful. It was the ideal location to spend a long weekend with family and friends to celebrate my 70th Birthday. Weather was also very kind!

The house was a great place for our family vacation. The location of the house close to many Black Forest attractions. The house is exactly what we expected and we found it very easy to enjoy all facilities. We are a Jewish family and the kitchen was very easy to make kosher. Thank you Diana for all the support.

We had a wonderful stay at Easter in Loffingen. We were a family of 15 people (8 adults and 7 children) who gathered from Belgium, France and Italy for the birthday of our mum & dad. The house is very large and there was plenty of room to accommodate every one. We particularly enjoyed the long diner table and the professional, fully equipped kitchen. The area where the house is located is beautiful and quiet. We visited Titisee-Neustadt and the Schwarzwaldpark in Löffingen which is pretty close. Special thanks to Diana, the house manager, who provided us with some helpful tips before our arrival. We definitely recommend this holiday house.

Für unsere jährliche Klausurtagung vom Fortschrittskolleg FUTURE WATER verbrachten wir zu zwölft, drei wundervolle Tage in diesem Haus. Die ruhige Lage, die Ausstattung des Hauses und die wundervolle Umgebung waren die perfekte Vorraussetzungen für das Gelingen unserer internen Tagung. Die sehr große und gut ausgestattete Küche lud zum gemeinsamen Kochen ein und stärkte somit auch unser Team. Wir würde jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Viele Grüße und herzlichen Dank für alles.

This holiday house is amazingly well furnished. You expect to see everything you need in the house. State-of-the-art multimedia system along with all required kitchen-related objects. Very very clean kitchen. The living area and the rooms are also very clean and nicely decorated. There are several types of rooms in the building, which are all very nice. There are several master bedrooms too, which are very spacious. Actually we could not ask for more. The neighbourhood is also very nice. There is a small lake in the walking distance which is very beautiful. There are nice hiking trails nearby. There are two nice restaurants in the vicinity of the house. The housekeeping lady is also very very nice and helpful. She was very kind. The owner is also a very nice guy, although we just communicated through email. We really enjoyed our holiday in that house, and we would definitely choose this house again in case we want to have another holiday in that region.
