Spring Lake Beach House with in-ground pool

We stayed in this property to celebrate my teenage daughters birthday, attending an event about 10 minutes away. Checked in on a Friday and out on Sunday. The owners were very accommodating to our schedule, letting us check in early. When we got to the house I soon discovered I believe it was actually not like what we typically rent(vacation homes) but I think their actual home that they live in. It was extremely clean and very inviting and cozy. It provided everything we needed- linens, towels, etc. The kitchen had everything and anything we could possibly need. But then the outside, wow, beautiful. the landscaping impeccably maintained. They have lights hung about and makes for a great outdoor relaxing atmosphere. This house accommodates a good number of guests. The one thing I would warn of is it probably wouldn't be the best for younger children-toddlers- as this is their actual home and there a lot of decor, pictures etc that I would be worried of a child getting into. We have older children so it was great. I thank the owners for being so accommodating and allowing us to rent their home.

We found the perfect place for our family reunion weekend in this lovely and immaculate home. There was plenty of comfortable space for our 11 family members. The owners alerted us several days in advance to a potential problem (power outage due to storms) and kept us informed. Fortunately, the power was restored before our rental started and everything went very smoothly. The owners provided very clear instructions and ample clean linens and towels; everything was well organized. The location was very convenient--relatively close to the beach and shops. We really appreciated the warmth and comfort of this home and would be delighted to return in the future!

Highly recommend this property! It was very easy to work with the owner and she was very flexible and accommodating. The property is about a 15 minute walk to the beach and near a school with a playground for young kids. The backyard is beautiful. The house is very big and easily fits 11 people without feeling too tight!

Our family of eight adults and three children under five stayed in this home for one week in August. We chose it because we are very familiar with Spring Lake and liked the dead-end street and the close proximity to the playground at the nearby school. We knew that the house was .7 mile from the beach, about a 15 minute walk. The home is lovely, however, it is definitely NOT child friendly! It is FILLED with personal and, I would imagine, treasured items in EVERY ROOM (including a large collection of ceramic roosters in easy reach of little hands). We chose not to use the single bedroom because it contained so many medals and trophies, again within easy reach. There was very little storage space for our use in both the kitchen and the bedrooms. In the kitchen, we needed to use the countertops for storage because all but one shelf in the pantry and all the cabinets were full. In each of the bedrooms, only two small drawers were marked with ribbons for our use. The other drawers were full. There was little space available in the closets. It was not enough room for a week's stay. The home's description claims that there are four queen beds. Only the bed in the master is queen. The others are full size. Most importantly, both the beds and the pillows were uncomfortable in these rooms. We were aware this house only included four beach/pool passes. Only full-time residents may purchase beach/pool passes. Visitors can only purchase BEACH passes at a cost of $10 each per day. More passes for a home this size would have been nice. It would also have been helpful to have beach chairs and an umbrella available. We needed to bring a baby seat and pack and play with us. It would have been great if these had been available also.
