Good for families, but cleanliness and maintenance need improvement - not worth almost EUR 2000/week

The campsite is well-maintained, with good access to the sea and great pools, especially for kids. There are plenty of dining options, but prices are the same or even higher than in Medulin or Pula city center. There’s a good variety of playgrounds and activities for children, although the playgrounds and dog area lack shade on sunny days. The campsite is large enough for long walks with a baby stroller. It’s just a few minutes from Medulin by car and about 15 minutes by local train.

The mobile home was not very clean - one bathroom had white stains on the grey walls, there was a lot of dust behind the sofa, the pot lids were dirty, and some glasses and dishes didn’t look properly washed. There were also killed insect remains on the walls in dozens of places, and the white toilet brush had brown pieces of excrement on it. Despite being only six years old, the mobile home was not in the best condition and seemed poorly maintained: nails were sticking out of the wooden deck boards, the door to one bedroom sometimes got stuck when fully closed, the white table had large scratches on the edge, and some exterior metal parts of the walls had fallen off. There was no possibility to create shade on the terrace from the sides and glass big window allowed a lot of heat to come inside from early morning to late afternoon. When it was windy, the pine tree next to the house made loud impacts against the house, creating scratching or drilling noises on the roof - we couldn’t sleep in one of the bedrooms because of that. You can't leave the A/C on when you're not inside the mobile home, so on sunny days the temperature inside can get really high. It’s not possible to leave a dog inside with the house locked. You also pay EUR 15 per day for a dog, which adds up to EUR 105 per week, but you literally get nothing for it - there are no poop bags available in the campsite, and you won’t get a chip or key for the only dog shower (not the beach one). Overall, not a good value for almost EUR 2,000 per week.

Nice camp houses near the sea

Camp house is nice and very near to the sea, to the pool and to football playgrounds. The yard around the house is spacious.

Relaxing experience.

The pool and the location. We liked the peace around the camp.

The restaurant at the camp by the pool with a toboggan was not good. Value for money is a disaster. For 18€ we ordered salmon spaghetti but the portion was so small that it took me exactly 4 forks to eat all. I have no words for that. It is just not fair.

Amazing beachside location close to town centre

Beautiful beachside location that was dog friendly. There were cafes and bakeries and a supermarket onsite for convenience. The property was well maintained and had 2 pools.

The restaurant I went to, though situated within the complex, was not part of the hotel so we could not charge our meal to our room.

Very nice camp where you can find eveything that you need.

Very nice camp, where both kids and adults spend a week without a need of going out of the camp. We went there with my family (three kids) and we spent a week in an apartment. Literally, we were able to find everything at the campsite. Activities, such as animations, baths for kids, kids club, and rental for water sports. We visited the sandy beach at Medulin too, but we visited only once because we could spend the entire day at the camp site. We left the camp only for sight seeing and doing a trip to Pula.

Exceptional

It was amazing! Everything! The mobile house, the conditions, the personal, the sea, the pools, the free and extra charge entertainments for children, the possibility to buy all you need nearby! It was like a fresh air for a while! Very glad by this choice. And good coffee in illy cafe.

Poor value-for-money

The apartment is spacious and has a nice terrasse and view.

Value for money is not satisfactory: premium pricing in a camping setting with low-quality beach, overcrowded pools with priced sunbeds (reception staff forgot to provide us with vouchers for free usage for apartment guests). Also, there are dogs everywhere (including free-roaming ones, although that would in theory not be permitted). Medulin overall is extremely touristy and overcrowded in July; much less attractive than other parts of croatia that we had visited further south (e.g. on Brac/Bol) on same trip.

The best part of our Europe trip!

This place has everything you can possibly think of! You just arrive and have everything at your doorstep. A multitude of restaurants, bars and cafes. Activities and ammenities are great. We had the deluxe camping villa with private pool and we’re two rows back from the beach. Everything was kept in excellent condition and was so clean. There are two different additional pools which have bars and sun beds and umbrellas. I was truly blown away at the size and beauty of this place. I only wish I had stayed longer!

Arena Kažela mobile homes

Minutes walk to the shore, very convenient.

Sometimes guests have late-night parties and make noises that aren't proper. Other guests with small kids need a quiet atmosphere for kid's healthy sleeping.

Very nice, clean mobile home in reach of the sea.

It's just a pleasure to walk out of the mobile home and smell & see the sea. This time we've had a different mobile home in proximity of the infinity pool. Everything is clean.

One should not expect that it's a sandy beach, it might not be easy for elderly people or toddlers to walk into the sea. It's basically a pebbly beach, you definitely need swimming shoes. But if you like snorkeling it's the right spot. It was a pity that in mid of June there was still no kids-disco organized. Our small girl was so looking forward to it. Last year same time, she could enjoy it!
