About this chalet rental
The AIALIK chalet is located on the low altitude pasture of Folliet at 1250m, just above Planay. It’s a small corner of paradise that seems to be secluded in its valley, overlooked by the peaks of Mont Mirantin and La Grande Journée which peak at 2400 m. A little taste of Alaska reinforced by the presence of the torrents of Argentina and Mirantin which pass not far from the chalet.
Summer and winter, it is the unusual mountain 400 m (10 min on foot on Chemin du Folliet) from ski lift departures, ESF ski lessons, various ski shops and other restaurants ...
This chalet is a great family adventure. Stéphane, Elsa, Niels and Swann, accompanied by local businesses, their families and friends, put all their energy into carrying out this renovation in accordance with tradition without sacrificing modern comfort.
The old barn that housed the Joguet Christmas cows until the summer of 2017, has been transformed into a children's room (sleeps 4), a room with 2 single beds (which can be put together), a large bathroom bath, separate WC and a storeroom / laundry room equipped with a washing machine and dryer.
The barn which contained the hay became the floor of life, presenting a large living room-dining room-kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom for a couple. This living floor is capped on its half by a very cozy 26 m2 mezzanine with TV corner, library and sofa bed.
In summer, a barely raised sedan car can easily take the Chemin du Folliet to go to the chalet.
In winter, it is possible to park at Planay and reach the chalet on foot. On the day of installation and departure, a shuttle system with a 4x4 is possible to carry luggage and food. Every morning and every evening, ski-in ski-out, you can leave and reach the chalet by taking a snowfield and a bridge over the torrent of Argentina ...
On foot, you can reach the chalet on snowshoes or in simple snow boots in 10 minutes on foot via Chemin du Folliet or across the field.
You will find at the Aialik chalet all the scenery and tranquility at the cost of some perfectly acceptable mountain efforts.
In the land of Beaufort, the grataron of Arêches and of course ski touring, you will have plenty of time to enjoy the tranquility of the place, the magnificent landscapes between Col du Pré, Roche Parstire and Col de La Bathie.

Nous avons profité d’une semaine de ski au soleil dans ce chalet magnifiquement bien aménagé. Nous y avons logé à 2 familles (4 adultes, 2 ados de 17 ans, 1 de 15 ans et un enfant de 9 ans). Tout y est pensé et conçu pour profiter de l’environnement à couper le souffle. Pratique, confortable, intérieur stylé, rien ne manque (avec en cerise sur le gateau «l’ampoule à facette » trouvée au détour d’une boum improvisée). Les salles de bain sont spacieuses et hyper bien aménagées, le chauffage par le sol offre un super confort, le poêle à bois rajoute encore du charme à l’endroit. Depuis l’accueil hyper chaleureux de Stéphane et de sa charmante famille, jusqu’à l’organisation du départ par leur ami Franck, nous avons savouré chaque minute passée dans ce chalet et à tour de rôle, tout au long de la semaine, l’un de nous s’exclamait «il est génial ce chalet». Des vacances à la montagne que nous attendions depuis 2 ans et que nous n’aurions pas pu rêver meilleures.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce magnifique chalet, très bien rénové avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipé également. L'emplacement est idéal, la région magnifique et l'accueil très sympa. Je recommande vivement

J'ai réservé ce chalet pour un séjour d'une semaine en été pour un séjour de randonnées familiales.
Tout en gardant un cachet de chalet d'alpage, le chalet en lui même possède tout le confort nécessaire pour passer un séjour très agréable.
Le cadre en lui-même vaut le détour : la vue vers Arèches (mention spéciale à la terrasse couverte qui permet de profiter de la vue quelque soit la météo), la proximité des sentiers de randonnée, le voisinage d'un torrent, des chèvres etc.
Une expérience que nous avons énormément appréciée avec ma famille et que nous espérons reconduire l'année prochaine !
