The breakfast was amazing, pool was heated and very comfortable. Our room was pristine and we loved that we were given makeup remover wipes! It’s the small things like that!

We wish there was some kind of hot tub to lounge in.

Our room was 321, it was very VERY damp inside our room and smelled like mildew from all the condensation. Even our bed and pillows felt wet.

Super clean! Beds were extremely comfortable. Water pressure and temps perfect.

The room: modern, very spacious, great bathroom, very comfortable large bed, imagine even 2 TVs. Staff absolutely helpful, over and above! Lobby very nice, comfortable, and spacious. Free outdoor parking.

Breakfast is bare minimum! WiFi speed slow and reception choppy. They also has some sites blocked (such as Booking.com!)

I've stayed at LaQuinta before. It is clean and friendly. They were able to accommodate a first floor room and it was perfect. We took our dog with us and she was welcomed.

The pillows were a little uncomfortable but we figured it out.

I'd stayed at the La Quinta during a previous visit to Bloomington several months ago, and I chose to stay again because I had been so happy with the prior stay. I was in the area as one leg of a trip around the southeast and midwest to explore interesting road bike trails and to visit friends. I stayed for a total of four nights, and every day I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff, the well-maintained facilities, and the cleanliness of my room (which, unlike any of the other hotels I used on this trip, included housekeeping each day of my stay). The hotel is located near an exit/entrance to Interstate I-69 and there are a number of good restaurants nearby. It is also located in a way that allows easy access to some of the places in southern Indiana you might choose to visit (e.g., Monroe Reservoir, McCormick's Creek State Park, Spring Mill State Park, Brown County State Park, etc). It's far enough from campus and the college-downtown to be peaceful, but Bloomington is small enough that getting to campus and the night life associated with it is still easy. I didn't try the breakfast during my stay, but it smelled good and the coffee (available 24-hours) was really quite good!

The location is great kinda set back not around much traffic noise. The breakfast was so so.

The shower floor was slippery which I assumed it was dirty so I bought some bleach cleaner and after I cleaned it it was so much better. Plus I got a small case of athletes foot there but took care with some foot spray I bought at the nearby Kroger.

The room was comfortable and clean

The water in the pool was freezing, we specifically booked at this place for a pool for our young children to swim. I guess in the future I will call ahead and make sure the pools are working correctly. The breakfast tasted off. The waffles were bitter, or also sour. The hash browns and sausage didn’t taste very good either. The AC fan in our room made a not normal sound all night, maybe something was caught in the fan like sound to it.

The room was large with ample seating, bed was comfortable. It was quiet and clean. There were a lot of options for breakfast as well.

Proximity to my friend’s home. Quiet. Relatively new.

Already showing wear and tear, eg bathroom caulk needs replacing. The air freshener used in the hotel is too overpowering and cheap smelling.

My first initial room smelled of pet feces. My second room couch had large stains and hair on the bed spread. Breakfast not appetizing

The staff was very friendly. The lobby was pretty.

The couch in the room was dirty. The hallway smelled moldy possibly the carpet.

The staff members we encountered were exceptionally nice. The breakfast was great and exceeded our expectations for an included breakfast. It's a small hotel so getting in and out with our luggage and pets was easy.

The in-room coffee is the only negative I can think of, but it was barely a negative because they offer very good, fresh coffee all day in the lobby.

The rooms were pretty clean. The beds and bathroom was clean, but probably the stuff that doesn't get cleaned every time needed attention.... Headboards needed dusted and wiped. Window and window sill need cleaned

I'm rented two rooms. One was immaculate. The second room was less tidy and had been weathered. However, to the hotel's credit, they are remodeling.

My wife broke out severely from bed bug bites that the manager denied and basically called my wife a liar. The manager did not do anything about the issue. My wife has photos of the bites she encountered.

I spoke with front desk multiple times about booking rooms side by side for a sleepover/bday party. At no point did staff member mention any rules pertaining to how and what I booked the rooms for. I was never informed sleepovers and partys weren't allowed on the property. Front desk was fully aware that I was expecting extra guests to attend the party. Not to stay overnight at the hotel. No one ever said that I would need to add those guest to my reservation just for them to be allowed on the property. I made the reservation, I wasn't made aware of any issues or rule violations until a staff member approached me with a cell phone stating her manager was on the line. The manager then told me that I had violated the pool rules and she wanted us out of the pool. She then added that all of my guests had 10 minutes to leave the property or she was going to call the police to have all of us removed if my guest weren't out of the hotel in 10 minutes.

Staff could have easily come to me and explained to me that I needed to make changes to my reservation in order to accommodate the rules of the property. Staff could have easily told my family in order to be fair to other guests that wanted exclusive use of the pool, they were giving us a time limit. Instead it came off like the Staff was trying to accommodate the family that wanted us out of the pool. The same family refused to even ride in the elevator with me. The manager wanted to threaten my family with the police to scare us in to leaving the hotel. It was very clear what happened here. I just wished I had my phone to record it.

Lacking choices of fruits, eggs tasted like powdered eggs, biscuits were hard. The small muffins were tasty. Coffee could have been stronger.

The whole hotel smelled very clean. From the moment we walked through the front door, to the room to the pool…clean! It was a very nice stay and the kids loved the pool. The room was much larger than expected and clean. Complimentary Breakfast was nice! They were out of regular coffee, which seemed a little strange, but overall- nice!

Regular coffee that should be available 24-7 was not available on a Sat morning and none was expected until Mon.

Wonderful stay, very clean rooms and facilities, staff were wonderful and friendly

they put a hold on your credit card for 1 night of your stay several days before check in and also deduct the whole room stay when you check out when questioned why there is still an additional room charge I was told it falls off 48-72 hours after check out , this should be disclosed and why? they should just include this as night 1 of Stay instead of taking an additional night and holding that on your card for several days and not tell you that is not right

We booked a room here last minute. Aaron was working the front desk when I inquired about a room. He was extremely helpful and kind. We were very pleased with our room and the facilities. In fact, we are staying there again on our return trip!

Other guest smoking right at front door. I’m also not a fan of multiple dog in room policy. I’m not sure if this is a policy… but all dogs should be kept on first floor only.
