Nice experience

The villa is very close to Nea Potidea beach, like 2 mins walking distance. Everiting is new and clean, as they clean the room every day. The host is very nice and helpful. We had the room from the corner of the villa and we had a huge terrance up front, but the other rooms had smaller ones. In the room you have a big fridge and a small kitchen so you can cook, but unfortunately no microwaves. In the last day we received a gift from the host, that contains olive oil and some olives, a verry nice gesture. Overall it was a nice experience, the host did everithing to make our stay more pleasant.

The bad thing was that the street is very close so in the evening tou can hear motorcycles and ATVs speeding nearby or people speaking too loud, but this is a problem affecting the entire town, as all the villas are very close to the streets. Another problem is be that you can't have complete privacy as the street is a bit busy with people going or comming from the beach. This was partially solved by the host by hanging some huge curtains on the terrace that can be drawn. But even so, people can still see you on the terrace. This also applies to those in the other rooms because the terraces are separated by a low wall. The biggest problem i think, are the parking places. When we arrive, we barrely found a parking place near the villa, because it was the weekend and many locals came to the beach. Durring the week you can find them especially in the evening when people start to leave the beach. But again, this is a problem affecting the entire town and it is not the host's fault.

very clean and comfy bed

Very friendly host Zoe bent over her back to accommodate us to make sure all our needs are met. Location is excellent. It is not on the water front like some others but not too far either and away from the night bustle and noise. Potidea is not a quiet family place as it used to be so it is actually better to be one or two streets away from the crowd and yet still close to the centre and the beach. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed was very comfy and long enough for me which is not always the case (186cm). I noticed all appliances were brand names, not an usual cheap ones which barely perform well. Daikin AC, Hoover fridge (separate freezer) etc... Modern design and tastefully decorated makes you feel special. TV had satellite channels although scattered through many numbers, but you can find your favourites and remember them to come back to them. Ground level room has another advantage. You can walk from the porch directly to the beach, have a swim and come back to sit down on the porch again and have a coffee or a cold drink until you feel you would like to go for another dip. Late afternoon is the only time it becomes too hot for the porch but this is the time to get ready to go out or you can just slip into your room with AC doing a great job in quit mode. You will barely hear it running but room will be cool in no time even on settings like 26C. There are two power outlets next to each side of the bed, one in the kitchen and bathroom and one outside on the porch. Even porch is tastefully designed with live plants around and tiled floor so it always look clean and beautiful. Cloth drying lines are there too so we had almost everything we could think we may need it for our stay. Also there are always enough places to park the car right in front of the accommodation even in peak season (we were there from 06-09 July)

This is probably nit picking but the kitchen would probably be a bit better with an extra light. The only light was from the rangehood which wasn't very strong and bright. Another thing would make the kitchen more complete would be a microwave, lets say on the top of the fridge. Also a kettle would be nice (we always carry our own with us so wasn't a problem). Anyways, none of these were a deal breakers and we would come back here again in these same conditions.

good vacation in Nea Potideae

The manager of the apartment is extremely cultured and resourceful. She tried to fulfill all our additional wishes. The apartment is clean, the equipment in it is of high quality. Our only complaint is the lack of an oven because we had no place to bake the fish. All the best and thanks again.

Occasionally the local Greek neighbors across the street from our apartment are really noisy because of the loud communication with the children from the terrace

Everything is best.The staff is really nice and polite.The beds were really comfortable and it felt relaxing staying there.It is one of the closest apartments tto the beach.I'd really recommend this place for all the people that want to visit Nea Potidea.

Väldigt fint o välstädat rum. Nytt o fräscht. Trevlig värdinna och mån om att vi hade allt vi behövde.

Väldigt dålig internet men det berodde inte på grund av stället utan det var dåligt i hela byn.
