I believe the property has two terraces one for each apartment our Terrace was in the shade all day … this isn’t a bad thing however we were looking for sun.

Nice and secluded house with a view

Extremely nice and secluded house and garden with private parking inside, thoughtful decor. The host Annarita was extremely helpful and accommodating and very nice, she even greeted us with some groceries to get started.

Very pleasant stay.

The hosts were extremely kind and helpful! The place was comfortable and clean. The grounds were also lovely. We also enjoyed having a kitchenette, washer/dryer and being close to a grocery store.

The price was a little high, though it is hard to find accommodation in this area, so I guess they are taking advantage of the scarcity.

Everything was perfect, cosy old building, with everything one needs for a family holiday. Clean, fresh, and outside was a nice place to sit and eat and watch the view. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Exceptional

Il Molino hits the mark on so many things it's almost too difficult to list them all. The apartment has such a charming character, with all the amenities you would find in a modern luxurious accommodation. The view is to die for, the quietness and the surroundings are simply top-notch. Very rarely we stayed at an accommodation and felt so much at home and eager to return. We also do not usually give a shout-out to our host, Mauro and his trusted housekeeper, Annarita. What a delight to meet this great team, and learn from them more about this great spot that Tuscany has to offer.

Nothing, really. Actually, one might say that a bit nuisance of Italian summers are the mosquitos, but Mauro and Annarita had an answer for that too: we were well stocked up with Citronella candles throughout our stay, and despite the occasional bite that wasn't enough to spoil our evenings; staying outdoor soaking in the view of Cala Galera marina and the old Spanish fort is an absolute must.

Mauro the host is the absolute best host EVER!!! The place is super quaint, charming and beautiful and just renovated. Book this place now!! Super close to all the beaches, town, restaurants!!!! Thank you Mauro!!!!!

It was a nice stay.

Very basic breakfast offering of water, coffee, milk, yogurt. The location is beautiful, the property interesting with a nice view of the bay and central to exploring monte Argentario. The owner greeted me on the phone and offered assistance. The woman who greeted me in Italian at the property was very pleasant. In sum, I had a nice short stay and value was good for self sufficient accommodations. I would recommend it.

The internet was very unreliable and almost useless for meeting work needs. The property offers a basic kitchen with basic cooking utensils, plates, bowls and cups. However believe it or not, there were no utensils for eating. Not sure what happened there but it was an inconvenience for me.

Peaceful and scenic stone mill house

The property has two small flats converted from a stone mill building. The location is great, with a beautiful garden and grounds, full of herbs, flowers, an orchard and olive groves. We stayed in the top flat which was airy and comfortable, very well equipped for all needs, clean and with a beautiful view of the sea, the port and the surrounding hills and fort. The service was friendly, effective and really nice. The property is very close to the busy town of Porto Ercole and the Feniglia but once you are there you are far away from the noise and busy beach life and tucked away in beautiful and aromatic surroundings. Definitely recommended!

Peaceful stay and beautiful views

We had a lovely stay in the upper flat of the house. You feel very peaceful and relaxed as there’s not much around save the insects, birds and flowers - although it’s very quick and easy to get into town for dinner etc. We loved the view of the marina and enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace. The bed is super comfy and the rooms are very quiet so we had some excellent sleep. The place is keen and the housekeeper comes every day to tidy up. Mauro the host is very kind and gave us a bottle of homemade olive oil which we enjoyed with fresh tomatoes from his orchard! Delicious! We enjoyed Porto Ercole on the whole and Mauro suggested hiring a boat which is something we would highly recommend. Thank you Mauro!

There’s a few insects around especially at night but this is normal for the area - the property has lots of insect repellent stuff anyway!

Good but not as expected

Die Beschreibung der Wohnung ist irreführend, da es sich um zwei verschiedene Wohnungen in einem Haus handelt. Dies war nicht aus der Anzeige ersichtlich. Uns war auch nicht bewusst, dass wir die zweite Wohnung bekommen haben. Zudem war das Gelände zwar gut umzäunt, aber es war nicht so privat wie angegeben, da ständig Arbeiten auf dem Grundstück durchgeführt wurden. Der Garten war wirklich schön gemacht und die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Es wäre besser die Anzeige klarer zu beschreiben.

Unterkunft

Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag einwandfrei gereinigt. Die Küche war mit den notwendigen Sachen ausgestattet. Es gab auch eine Waschmaschine. Die Besitzer waren immer für Anliegen erreichbar. Die Gartenanlage ist grosszügig gestaltet.

Wir sind davon ausgegangen, dass wir das Haus für uns haben und das war nicht eindeutig beschrieben. Wir hatten eine Familie mit 2 Kleinkindern über uns und der Lärm war beträchtlich. Auch besteht im Raum eine Feuchtigkeit, die Kommode für die Anziehsachen kann man nicht verwenden, da es modrig riecht. Der Raum ist sehr dunkel. Die Fotos für den Raum wurden optimiert und die Wirklichkeit sieht anders aus. Der Weg ins Zentrum ist ohne fahrbaren Untersatz nicht empfehlenswert da der Weg lang, dunkel und ohne Gehweg ist.

Schönes Appartement mit toller Terrasse, perfekt für Paare.

Die Lage, der Garten, die hochwertige Ausstattung, die schöne Terrasse.

Es war sehr wenig Platz für vier Personen. Ich würde die Unterkunft nicht unbedingt für Familien mit Teenagern empfehlen, mit jüngeren Kindern schon. Allerdings nur für wenige Tage. Das Appartement hat nur einen Raum.

Heerlijke plek om te verblijven met prachtig uitzicht! Een zwembad zou het helemaal afmaken 😄

Prachtige ligging en heerlijke buitenruimte. Schoon, van alle gemakken voorzien (bijv tav keuken, airco). Elke dag schoonmaak als je wil.

Door de vele muggen konden we niet zoveel buiten zitten als we zouden willen. De eigenaar doet er echter alles aan om hierin voorzieningen te treffen (horren, muggenspray, etc etc.

Belleza y desconexión

El alojamiento contaba con detalles especiales y pensados para los huespedes: cartas para jugar, spray para mosquitos, comida y agua para el desayuno.

En la descripcion no habiamos entendido que era una sola habitacion, donde se encontraban todas las camas. Pensabamos que eran dos habitaciones separadas, y no era así.

Ein wahres Schmuckstück!!!

Ein kleines feines Paradies auf der Halbinsel 🤩! Die beigefügten Bilder können diese Anlage gar nicht beschreiben - so wunderbar ist alles! Das Haus liegt etwas erhöht - von den beiden Terrassen aus sieht man aufs Meer - alleine schon die Einfahrt mit Zypressen und unzähligen verschiedenen Pflanzen ist ein Hit! Durch die üppige Vegetation wimmelt es nur so von Schmetterlingen. Das Haus ist in zwei Appartements aufgeteilt - wir waren im unteren - und es hat uns super gefallen! Die komplette Anlage (der Garten ist riesig - auch im oberen Bereich mit zwei Riesen-Outdoorbetten!!!) kann von beiden Parteien genutzt werden. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen - und uns wurde alles gezeigt und gut erklärt. Der Kühlschrank war schon für uns befüllt, es wurde jeden Tag Kaffee, Butter nachgefüllt… Auch wurde jeden Tag geputzt. Unser Bordercollie-Mädchen hat die Anlage auch total genossen. Alles war in einer spitzen Qualität!!! Wir haben uns wahnsinnig wohlgefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr weg.

Pozione magnifica vista Mara , casale ristrutturato egregiamente la cura dei dettagli perfetta cucina fornitissima di tutto , riassetto giornaliero inaspettato e graditissimo, la signora Anna Rita gentile e disponibile . Il casale è posizionato in collina in mezzo alla campagna e alla vegetazione tipica del posto .
