New Listing! Located right on the Royal Coconut Coast, you’re in a perfect central location at Plantation Hale, Kapaa. Walk across the street to the Coconut Plantation Marketplace to shop at any of the boutiques or pick up groceries. Walk 50 steps in a slightly different direction to award winning Hukilau Lanai for dinner, cocktails and live music or Spa Makaiwa for a massage or facial.
Enter the front door and you’ll immediately be drawn to the beautiful upgrades the owner has graciously offered. The kitchen is compact, but offers everything you need to create a simple snack or a lavish meal. Our room did not have an ocean view. It did have a quiet lenai that we enjoyed sitting on several times during our stay.

It is easy to get to the north and south of the island, as the location is in between. It is very nice having a bedroom with a door and lots of eating places and groceries close by. Thanks!

The property is nice. The VRBO was very comfortable. It is up to date and clean. We had everything we needed. The staff on the property was very nice and helpful. We like the location. It was central to the other section of the island.

I have to say I was not impressed at all with the actual property, it gave me a creepy old motel feel. However the actual unit is clean and comfortable- just didn't enjoy the balcony at all. I also would recommend that when they know someone is checking in to leave the A/C or at least a fan going. It was very unpleasant to come in tired and feel so hot & muggy. My daughter & I had to take cold showers just to cool off- that's not a welcoming feeling in my opinion. It does have 1 A/C and it does eventually cool off the unit which was nice once it did. I know not many places have AC but if at least there was better circulation in the unit it wouldn't be such a big deal, one other VRBO I rented on our trip did not have A/C but the air circulation and outside breeze was fantastic unlike this unit, so be sure to take advantage of the A/C. The kitchen was very well stocked and TV's worked well for the little bit we used them. It's very convenient to walk to the shopping center nearby, but don't go to the "beach" across the street, it's not swimmable & had some shady characters there, I must've missed the beach mentioned in the description because the one across the street is definitely not it. I also didn't appreciate the email I received upon checkout asking us to make sure to pick up (do dishes- no problem with that) but when I'm paying a cleaning fee I don't appreciate being asked to haul trash outside or to remove bed linens. I didn't, it was a polite request, to be honest, but again, if we're paying a cleaning fee, I don't think that should even be mentioned. If you like the area and the outside of the property is not important to you, this is a very nice unit and once cooled was comfortable to stay in.
