Magnificent T2 apartment, completely independent ground floor, not overlooked, completely renovated in superb Californian villa. 1 bedroom, living room, kitchen, shower room, wc, (1 bed + 1 sofa bed) Air conditioning, wifi Secure private parking, Large terrace and private garden with sea view and Lerrins islands. Located at the entrance of the forest park Croix des Gardes Absolute quiet 10 minutes walk from the beaches, the Palais des Festivals and the Croisette.

Communication was easy , the apartmet is at the top of a private road with 2 other houses so we were waiting in the wrong place for a while, but Celine found us and welcomed us to the annex of their home. The space was clean and well kitted out. As it is on the hills it is about 20mins walk down to the main strip and walk back is steep, but we walk a lot so was ok for us. There is a big electric gate so we felt very safe. There no hairdryer but had everything else wd needed, iron etc. I even brought the wrong plug adapter and messaged celine she came with many right away! The only thing we would reccomend is to get towel hooks as the towels had no where to dry as no radiators so they were not dry for next day. Thanks celine for our day!

An easy and pleasant environment created by this attractive modern flat. The deck and small garden are great for reading or even outdoor exercise. Tasteful furnishings and our friendly and responsive proprietor made the stay a treat.

This apartment is clean and modern. However, there are a couple of issues that need to be highlighted. Firstly, the main picture being used to market the property showing a large terrace with sunbeds is not part of the facilities for the apartment you are staying in, it is part of their adjoining house and grounds, so should not be featured. The second, and a major issue is the description states the apartment is '10 mins from midi-plage’ so on the day of check-in we situated ourselves on midi beach, and I put the address into Google maps thinking it was a short 10 minute walk and it came back with the fastest route as 25 mins. Unfortunately my own phone had run out of battery, so I had no way of contacting the host to let her know I was going to be late. The only thing I could do was start walking up towards the apartment as quickly as possible. The third issue, that compounded my lateness was that the roads up to the apartment are on a series of 20% gradient hills that are very hard going to walk up making the journey from beach up the hill to the accommodation more like 40 mins on foot, which in turn made me almost an hour late getting to them. Two days later the host messaged to check everything was ok. I politely said that we were happy with the apartment itself, and it was lovely and clean, but felt she should amend the description for future guests to mention the gradient & distance just so that other people don’t experience the same disappointment as we weren’t actually able to use the apartment how we had planned to (popping back for lunch etc from the beach) and had to be out from 8am-11pm and were just sleeping there. The feedback was not taken in good spirits as was intended. On the morning of check out the host met us to collect the keys, and again flatly refused to acknowledge this was a problem for us and possibly other guests without a car. However she did offer to give us a lift down to the beach with our bags which was gratefully received and on the way showed us a small cut-through down a driveway marked as ’Private’ which, if she had mentioned it earlier, would have cut approx 5 mins off our walk time. We then left on relatively good terms, so was surprised when she later reported there was damage to a wall that we don’t believe was there when we left. So we have now been hit with an extra charge that I have raised my objections to with VRBO along with photos of how we actually left the property in a tidy manner.
