Let us tell you a little story...
This house has soul. She’s stood for over a century, filled with stories, laughter, and the kind of charm you only find in a true Wisconsin classic. From the moment we stepped inside, we felt it—that quiet warmth that instantly feels like a hug. We knew we had to care for her.
Since then, we’ve poured our hearts into gently updating her—most recently with a bright, welcoming new kitchen (it’s our favorite place to sip coffee in the morning) and a newly paved driveway that makes coming home feel just right.
We’re tucked away in a peaceful neighborhood where the mornings are quiet, the neighbors wave hello, and the breeze off Lake Winnebago carries a little bit of magic. While the lake isn’t directly in our backyard (it peeks through just beyond our neighbor’s home), you’re only five minutes from its shoreline—and just three minutes from a beautiful Fox River launch. Whether you love casting a line, paddling into the sunset, or just watching sunlight dance on the water, there’s a little serenity waiting for you here.

You’ll find three snug and welcoming bedrooms and 1.5 sparkling-clean bathrooms (the full bath has a tub—perfect for a long soak after exploring). We’ve tried to think of everything, including:

Absolutely loved my stay at Alisa’s VRBO home! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spotless everything was—the house truly sparkles with cleanliness. The amenities exceeded our expectations: every convenience was thoughtfully provided, making it easy to settle in and feel at home.The house itself is bursting with charm, from the tasteful décor to those little touches that make a place extra special. You can tell Alisa takes genuine pride in her property and cares about her guests’ experience. She was wonderfully attentive throughout our stay, quick to answer questions and offer helpful suggestions.One of the highlights was Alisa’s fantastic knowledge of local restaurants. She made spot-on recommendations that helped us discover some great dining options we would have otherwise missed, enhancing our whole trip.Sleep and relaxation came easy thanks to the super comfortable furnishings. And the location is unbeatable for anyone attending the Oshkosh Airshow—just a short, convenient drive away, yet peacefully removed from the busiest crowds.I highly recommend Alisa’s home for anyone visiting the area. You’ll be delighted!

Alisa was the best host EVER! My coworker and I were in town for EAA Airventure and her place was super convenient as it was only a short drive to get to the grounds. The house was absolutely beautiful, clean, cozy, and welcoming. It's a historical house close to the lake, with gorgeous accents, we absolutely loved it! Alisa was really friendly and accomodating. She walked us through everything we needed to know for our stay, and gave us some great suggestions on where to eat the best food in town. I absolutely recommend her house to anyone looking to stay in Oshkosh and we'll for sure stay there next year for the Air show!

Our wonderful hostess shared her charming home with a view of the lake. Communication was great and we had a home tour upon arrival to help us settle in. We were able to work remotely by morning and tour by afternoon, enjoying the local restaurants and friendly residents of Oshkosh. Many , many thanks!
