GIGLIO DI MARE Residence

We stayed in the "older" holiday home, which was very cozy and offered plenty of space, quiet, and privacy. The absolute highlight was the huge terrace with a stunning sea view and perfect shade all day long. The overall facilities were excellent: a huge, secure parking space inside a gated area, a pristine clean swimming pool (which our kids loved), a playground, and a bar serving perfect espresso. It was also great that beach umbrellas and sunbeds were available to borrow. Above all, the hospitality of the owners was absolutely priceless. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Nothing really bothered us, but a few useful things to know for future guests: * Our specific holiday home was older with more traditional equipment. * The Wi-Fi signal didn't reach our building, which was fine for us, but good to keep in mind. * Only one of the two pools is accessible for guests, and it is located a bit further away, right in front of the newer houses.

Nichts

Almost everything was perfect, great clean pool, direct access to nice beach with few people, showers by the pool, free umbrella, loungers and kayaks to rent, very nice children’s playground behind houses in pine forrest with swings and slides (our preschoolers really enjoyed it), free parking. Houses were spacious with working AC, perfectly clean and furnished, perfect terrace overlooking new pool and sea, dishwasher would be nice, but not a dealbreaker, washing machine available for free (we didn’t use it). Communication with owners without problem, mostly in italian using translator. There is a poolside/beach bar serving drinks, coffee and some basics.

- The bar itself was also a downside for us as it played music (italian pop radio station) for most part of the day and in the evening, it is intended for the beach side and customers coming from the beach, but you can hear it by the houses as well and it is distracting. Might not be problem for someone used to it, we didn’t like it.

- direkt am Meer - schöner Pool - 4 Häuser die vermietet werden, daher immer genügend Platz - privater Parkplatz

- für Bettbezug muss bezahlt werden - beim Häuschen wird man den ganzen Tag mit Musik von der Bar beschallt. von 9:00 Uhr bis 20:00 Uhr, wenigstens war es gute Musik, italienischer Radiosender mit wenig Sprechzeit
