The Cemok's Cottage

This is a place where you arrive a stranger and leave as a friend. Olla cannot do enough for you, she will take care of everything. I had no idea where I was going as I was travelling alone in Indonesia for the first time. I need not have worried. Olla booked my boat from Bali, arranged a lift to the cottages and was there to greet me.The cottages are beautiful, comfortable, well air conditioned and well serviced. There is someone on site almost all the time and if not there, you just WhatsApp Olla and she will arrange whatever you need or be there within minutes herself. The pool is beautiful, clean and steps from your balcony. Breakfast is served in the morning whenever you want it. The grounds are well cared for by Olla and her brother in law and if you need to go somewhere either of them will arrange it or take you themselves.

Everything. Ola was so nice, helpful and caring . The breakfasts was always on point, if you have a question about anything she can help you. You can rent a scooter with her as well. The bedroom was clean, the beds comfy, the pool was such a nice touch in the end of the day too. Honestly our best booking of our entire trip.

I had a truly wonderful stay here. The space is beautiful, peaceful, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable, a perfect place to relax or work. Olla is an exceptional host: warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She goes above and beyond to make sure guests have everything they need, and her hospitality made me feel completely at home. She even guided me amazingly well through the local town festival and kindly took me along to some of the acts. It was such a thoughtful and memorable experience. The fresh breakfast each morning was a lovely touch, and the location is ideal, close to restaurants, supermarkets, and just a short walk to the seafront. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Worth every penny and more!

We had a lovely stay at Cemoks Cottage. Breakfast is simple but delicious, delivered to your balcony in the mornings. Olla, who runs the place, is incredibly helpful. Olla arranged a taxi pick up and both our ferry’s for us for a good price. She also made us a take away breakfast for the morning we were heading out early. Amazing. There’s some great spots to eat along the main road nearby too - we loved cocoleaf resto

We did find the bed hard, and there was a lot of noise from the roosters/ chickens next door in the morning, so keep this in mind when booking.
