Swazi Dreams. (Nqabaneni Eco-Volunteering.)

Host was nice, bed was comfy, the area was peaceful, the room was clean

For the price I would just expect a little more. A kettle, soap in the bathroom, a mosquito net, maybe some cereal and long life milk (since there is no fridge) for example. I was the only guest staying there and the manager stays off site, I didn’t feel unsafe per se but it felt a little weird being there completely alone. There is no wifi so make sure you have a SIM card in case of emergencies. I would still recommend this place to people especially if you’re not travelling alone, it’s a great place to enjoy the views and nature, just a few improvements could make it a lot better.

We absolutely loved! loved! loved! staying at Swazi Dreams. We got the authentic feel of living in a Swazi homestead, albeit with some morden luxuries. Our host, Sizwe is just too wonderful to fully describe, he was so on point and readily available when needed. Talk about the braai experience he prepared us 👌👌👌👌👌. For me it was the spinach with ground peanuts he made which was like nothing i have ever tasted before. We hiked up the local mountain which gave great views of the valley. We would highly recommend spending at least 2 -3 nights to fully experience Swazi  Dreams and surrounding local area.

Swazi dreams is a place for people who like quiet holiday😀 There are several huts with comfortable beds. No aircon or fan. They are located on mountains with nothing close by. There is hot water for shower and drink water direct from tap. You should book dinner in advance or buy everything in town before returning to hut. No 🛜 internet there. Evening you can see plenty stars on sky and nice sunset. We drive to towns to visit park, life of local and return to mountain before 5pm . Nice experience but 2 days are more than enough.

No internet so it I really hard for international traveler like us. We can't download gps for roads.

The place is very quite and clean. You can hear yourself thinking without any disturbance.

Showers need attention,we struggled to bath and there was no hot water,Not enough power plugs to charge gadgets & phones,Please also install a bed side lamp for easy access. Resturants are 15-20 km away,make sure you buy food before heading here.
