About this cottage rental
Beautiful cedar home on a quiet and secluded private lot, on Big Crosby Lake. Great sunrises on your private screened in porch off the master bedroom, there you will find Hammocks to catch the morning rays. 50 steps gets you into pristine water off your own private dock, there you will find chairs, water noodles and kayak/canoe for your pleasure. Lots of quiet areas to take the dog for a walk. Downstairs deck is off the kitchen, great for BBQ or just lazing around and get into your new book. Enjoy the awesome view of the lake from here while relaxing with your favorite beverage or BBQ off your brand new Napolean BBQ. We have recently updated the main level 3 piece bathroom and the 2nd level 3 piece bathroom. New deck planned for spring construction with additional views of the lake.
Close to the Historic town of Westport where you will find great shopping, walking trails, grocery stores, great restaurants, winery and brew pub. Stones throw from the Historic Rideau Canal which connects Ottawa to Kingston (which is on the St. Lawrence Seaway and connects you by boat around the world).
In the other direction you head to Historic town of Perth, which has a population of 5930. Which boasts great, museums, historic tours, banking, hospitals, and parks
Boat tours available upon request. Gourmet meals prepared upon request. We are offering a $200 discount off our rate for two week bookings. We have just completed a full length covered porch and also are offering a free fishing boat rental with damage deposit. 2 night minimum at $300 per night from May Long Weekend to June 23rd

Paul and Dani go above and beyond to ensure that you are comfortable. Their place is amazing! It is situated up on a hill and the view is breath taking! It is definitely the perfect escape. The beds are super comfortable and they provide more then enough linens, towels and kitchen linens. There is nothing you need in terms of kitchen equipment. Basically just bring yourself and your food.
I would highly recommend this to anyone. We will definitely be back!

We very much enjoyed our authentic cottage getaway on beautiful and quaint Big Crosby Lake.
Close enough to the Village of Westport to nip out for breakfast, ice cream or groceries.
This is a very peaceful and serene location with a very well appointed Kitchen for those that like to cook!
Paul and Dani were wonderful hosts and made us feel very welcome!
We would definitely come again!

We had a great time at Dani and Paul's cottage. They are excellent hosts and the cottage and location were as good as expected. They did a few renovations that you can't see on the pictures and one of the bedrooms has a double bed instead of 3 single beds. It didn't change anything for us but i thought i'd mention it. The kitchen is very well equiped, you won't need to bring anything if you like cooking. We highly recommend it!

Paul and Dani were great hosts, they answered all of our questions and were very accommodating. The property was beautiful and very clean and has a beautiful view of the lake. My friends and I had really enjoyed our time here would definitely come back again. Thank you for everything!
