About this farm stay rental
La Taillede is an ancient Catalan farmhouse, situated at 950m altitude, just outside of Corsavy in the Haut Vallespir area of the French Pyrenees. Gite Carlit, brand new in 2018, is our top floor accommodation, giving it the best views on the property. This unique and luxurious apartment has been built with love by the owners, all the interior used wood entirely from their own forest, crafted by the family on site. With high ceilings, huge living area, big fireplace, underfloor heating, all the mod cons. It has 2 private terraces; the breakfast terrace (with BBQ) which enjoys the morning sun, and the top terrace with hot tub for afternoon sun. Both terraces enjoy incredible views of mountains beyond. The gite also has a private hammock spot in the forest with views over towards the high mountains of the Haut Vallespir. La Taillede really is the ideal location to de-connect from busy city life.
New for 2021; Shared use of our beautiful big outdoor pool; 12 x 6 metres.
On the farm we have lots of friendly animals; farm and domestic, a play ground, boules pitch, vegetable garden, saw yard and workshop (away from the accommodation) and 51 hectares of forest and pasture to explore. A fantastic area for families, keen hikers and mountain bikers and anyone with a love of nature. With 4 gites plus a yurt, we can sleep 14-16 people Spring/Autumn and 20 in the summer; please ask about family gatherings, retreats and corporate events. Catering available for large groups.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à la Taillède chez Matt et Ali !
Le gîte Carlit est superbe et spacieux pour 4 personnes, avec une vue exceptionnelle sur les Pyrénées. La literie est top, l'ambiance est cosy avec la cheminée et l'espace extérieur terrasse et surtout bain chaud au charbon de bois ! Quel bonheur de se relaxer dans ce lieu bien tenu par Matt et Ali qui sont d'une gentillesse et d'une attention exceptionnelle.
C'est le lieu idéal pour se ressourcer au cœur de la nature.
