Hôtel Restaurant Gastronomique La Huchette

The hotel was near the motorway. It is a wonderful hotel in a very quiet setting. The food is fantastic, as are the staff.

Location excellent as easy access to M40, very peaceful setting and secure parking.

The only slight concern was the safety of the bathroom, especially for older guests. The bath/shower could do with a grab rail, and non slip mat?

The staff were lovely. The hotel was in a good location. The restaurant was spectacularly good.

The rooms where large and well decorated. parking good.

I drove 5 hours to get there, tired and hungry to find that the restaurant was closed for a wedding and absolutely nothing was offered to the hotel guests! There is a breakfast area where something could have been offered to guests, anything. I was told that I could drive 5km to a restaurant if we want food. we were largely ignored by the staff who were too busy with the wedding to even ask if we needed anything. Breakfast consisted of bread, cake, meat, cheese and croissants. Nice rooms but felt invisible.
