It's a cozy and cute place surrounded by trees and flowers in a small village/town. The place has a lot of history behind it and is well renovated and maintained. We stayed in a room with almost a meter-thick stone walls which according to the owner was originally a prison (definitely didn't look like one now!). So, it was very cool despite the scorching heat outside. Self check-in and check-out were very smooth, and we didn't have to go through the hassle of filling out forms on arrival.
The only complaint I have really was the weird water dipping noise that came from upstairs. Early in the morning, during the day, and late at night. It was as if someone was showering right on the wooden floor upstairs. We never figured out what they were actually doing upstairs but it was really annoying at 6 AM.

I returned because it was the best place to stay on offer, but it is out of town a way if cycling like I was! Prices in the district are high and so this made this place good value because of the quality breakfast included in the price.
No indoor place for bicycle storage. And a bit far out of town for bicycling but that was my choice !
It’s a minor thing but…Better signs directions to rooms and room numbering in doors would help guests - once again people wandering around looking for their room!

A nice garden with places to sit outside in the afternoon sun. The owners were helpful with trying to receive a parcel that was to be sent to me and gave good advice. The place was expensive but still cheaper than other places in the area and they really did try very hard to make breakfast good and delicious and were successful! My room was a good size although a little hard to find even with the map at reception. Just know that the door to the right of reception is not someone’s room but a communal lounge to walk through to more rooms!
Better signs and more obvious numbering of the rooms would help guests find them quickly. I was not the only one wandering around looking for my room ! No undercover place inside to keep a bicycle.
