HAZARDOUS, DIRTY AND NOT FIT TO BE LET OUT

The location is fantastic - we have stayed in this block for over 30 years

We have been staying in the front de neige for 30 years. We do not expect luxury and accept that the building is ‘of its time’ however, this apartment is in a terrible state of repair and is not fit to be let out. When we arrived the apartment was in a substandard state. It was generally very dirty and not ready for occupiers The cupboard where you store boots, coats etc is a mess with laundry screwed up everywhere, the beds were not made and looked as though they’d just been slept in, the bathroom bin was not emptied. There was a box of cat litter on the floor. There was rubbish on the balcony and piles of ‘stuff’ in the corner, carpets, toys, highchairs, buckets, a sweeping brush, the floor was wet and dirty as well there being a dirty ashtray. It’s a shame I can’t attach more photos. More alarmingly, there was a socket hanging from the wall, skirting board falling off and nails sticking out, screws exposed and sticking out from sliding doors, floor tiles missing and cracked leaving sharp edges exposed, burnt carpets, and generally a very poor state of decorative repair. There is mould along the bath and also the sink in the kitchen. There are burnt, melted and exposed wires sticking out from the kettle. Only 2 of the 4 hob rings work. Of the dining chairs, one I seat has a huge hole in and 3 of the 4 are very wobbly and unsafe. We also found a washing machine full of wet laundry. 6 pillow cases, three sheets, three double duvet covers. There is no where to hang all of this laundry (nor should we have to do the job of a cleaner). At first the owner was friendly and offered to send a maid to clean and make the beds (which would’ve been pointless and also very disruptive) but this apartment needs a lot more than a clean. We did not wish to stay as we felt that the apartment was unsafe and highly hazardous for our young children. The owner then became defensive, unprofessional and would not cooperate or accept any issues / offer a refund.

We had a brilliant stay

Location was perfect. Slopes on your doorstep and the same with shops, restaurants etc. Especially convenient with 3 children. Pascal was so helpful throughout our stay and answered any questions we had very quickly.

The shower was a little awkward to use but we managed fine.

Pascal, the host was amazing. We got stuck in the roads on the way up as our snow socks broke and he organised for chains to be delivered to us on the road side. We enjoyed ourselves so much we have booked again!

Apparemment vraiment très sale et vétuste qui a besoin de rénovation totale urgente

Emplacement au pied des pistes

Le propriétaire est gentil et fait de son mieux mais l’appartement est vraiment trop trop vétuste. Il nécessiterait en urgence quelques mois de rénovation. Rien ne va. La salle de bain horrible. La cuisine sale, même crasseuse. La literie est horrible, la moquette au sol fait vraiment peur. Beaucoup de mobilier est cassé ou branlant. On sent que le propriétaire a essayé de faire quelque chose en achètent quelques oreillers ou équipements chez IKEA en urgence pour répondre aux très mauvais commentaires mais malheureusement ça ne suffit pas à masquer l’état général de délabrement. Ma femme voulait même quitter le lieu dès le premier jour. J’ai insisté pour rester car les enfants étaient heureux de skier… mais c’est vrai que la saleté de l’appartement était vraiment et malheureusement hors norme. Dommage.

les équipements de cuisine: pas de louche, pas de passette correcte confort de l'appartement: manque de placard rangement linge, pas de local à skis dédié, des tapis dans tous les sens, et très difficile de se garer, dommage l'emplacement est exceptionnel.
