We checked in at the office. Very smooth process. Got into our condo/townhome. I took the small bedroom with the single/trundle bed setup. It was stuffy in the place, so I went to open my windows. Once I did, my room was covered with small bugs. By covered, I mean the drapes, the floor, my bed, the trundle bed under that one....they were all over. One of the friends traveling with me found some in her room as well. I immediately called the office, and was told that those were just a native bug, and that they'd had a bad infestation of them this year. But they were nothing to worry about. NICE! I understand infestations outside, but these were all over my room. They offered to send over someone from maintenance to look at everything. Before he got there, I had stripped my bed, vacuumed up all the bugs I could find, and closed the windows. The screens were bent and didn't fit the windows tight, but I'm not sure how the inside of the windows got so full of them? Anyway, we wanted to leave to go have dinner, and the maintenance guy was pulling up. I explained that I'd vacuumed and cleaned up, but asked him if he could at least put some masking tape around the screens so that I could open the windows to air out my room without having bugs crawling all over. He assured me he could do that, that we could go ahead and leave, and he'd take care of it. We got back from dinner. Nothing was done. We doubt he even went into the unit. So...it's an okay place. Maybe stay there in the winter
