About this house rental
Darling little cabin right on the Feather River. The back yard is bordered by a deep, wide portion of the river. The back deck features stunning views of the river with nothing but national forest on the opposite bank. Wake up in the morning and enjoy your coffee while watching the geese and myriad ducks on the river. The local Bald Eagle may fly by and occasionally otters and beavers appear. Private, yet right down the road from Plumas golf course in a quaint little neighborhood of old-school cabins. This family cabin has been lovingly decorated with the owner's personal antiques, rugs and art, collected during years of living in Europe and the Middle East. The living and dining area maximizes living space, with a sliding patio door and 8 foot window looking out at the river and forest. The open kitchen has everything you need for cooking: high quality pots and pans, as well as pantry essentials like coffee, flour, sugar, canned goods, etc. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, sitting area and ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed. The guest bath has a shower and new washer and dryer. The backyard is fenced with fully furnished deck space. One garage space available with Type 2 EV charger for your electric car and ample driveway parking. Children and dogs accompanied by well-behaved adults who clean up after them are welcome!

We had a very enjoyable stay. The home owners equipped the house with lots of things one might need for activities, cooking/baking and emergencies. There was a weather warning during the course of our stay and the owner was understanding and flexible with our departure due to the conditions. A cozy place to stay in winter with a small group of friends, family, and kiddos.

Excellent property year round. Host was very responsive. Well appointed kitchen, comfortable furnishings and beds, clean, and included all we could have wanted. Brand new propane BBQ, great fireplace with lots of wood. Amazing private yard within steps to the peaceful river. Bird and squirrel food abundant.

This place is fantastic! The views are incredible. Place was stocked with everything that you need or forgot! I would definately book again. It was a perfect place to relax.
