Long View Lodge Interior:



Entry Level:



*Gourmet open kitchen with high-end appliances, custom kitchen cabinets with pull-out shelving, and soapstone counters/backsplash.  Large copper sink with disposal. Fully stocked. Round zinc top dining table and custom concrete Lazy Susan--seating for 6, comfy Old Hickory, hand-crafted dining chairs.  You won't want to get up after eating, but do and go out to the deck (the stars are amazing!) or curl up by the fire during winter weather.  The dining area opens to the screen porch.

Appliances:  Wolf range gas/electric oven, Sub-Zero fridge upstairs, (2nd fridge with freezer on the lower level), Sub-Zero wine fridge, Scotsman ice machine (fresh ice is a must for cocktails!), Miele dishwasher, Big Green Egg grill & accessories w/Loftlighter, KitchenAid mixer, Vitamix blender, 8-cup coffee maker, coffee grinder, waffle maker, toaster oven, microwave, hand mixer, small food processor, manual juicer, tea kettle, barware with tools, knife block, drinking faucet (reverse osmosis under the sink).



*King Master Bedroom with stone, cedar log and reclaimed mushroom board walls, handmade iron/upholstered headboard, walk-in closet, sliding doors to sunroom, pocket doors to closet and bath.  Room darkening curtains.

This level also contains an Artic Wind, full size, air hockey table, Bonzini European foosball table, upright piano, and acoustic guitars, multiple board games, Legos, puzzles, poker chips, cards, card table, books for all ages, and folk art. 

*Bedroom with 5 1/2 super cozy built-in beds each with their own reading light, curtains, outlet, book niche, and drawer.  Unique hooks on the wall for backpacks.  The "half" bed is a daybed with custom cushion and pillows (perfect for a sleepy little hobbit).  Custom track door to close off the room to the family area.  Double doors lead to a sitting area with a swing and chairs, the large deck connects to the other sitting area.



*Large bath with porcelain covered, cast iron pedestal tub, tile shower, dual sinks, granite counter, separate water closet with track door.

Cabins nearby: A Little Piece of Heaven

All Bed Linens and towels are provided with this rental. The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, and pans. There are no food items, spices, or condiments provided. 



You will be provided with 5 Kitchen Trash bags, 2 rolls of paper towels per Kitchen Sink, 3 packs of dishwasher detergent, 1 10 oz Gain or Tide laundry soap (6 loads), a small 2 oz bottle of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner per bathroom with tub or shower, and a bar of hand soap per bathroom sink, 2 rolls of toilet paper per toilet.  You will also be provided with a souvenir Willow Creek Cabin Rentals tote bag to take with you. Please make a note, this is a starter kit for your arrival. If you require more essentials, you will be required to purchase those. No more items will be brought to the property.

Damage waiver is included in the nightly rate for this cabin.



Guest will be required to complete Willow Creek Cabin Rentals Rental Agreement and provide WCCR with a copy of Driver`s License. Reservation will be canceled if guest refuses to complete Rental Agreement and provide a copy of Driver`s License. 

Location:  Long View Lodge is a majestic, true log cabin, located in Georgia's Chattahoochee National Forest near the end of Hwy. 2 where forest roads enter the Cohutta Wilderness.  It is a 10-15 minute drive to Jack's River hiking and the Cohutta trailheads, a 15-20 minute drive to downtown Blue Ridge or McCaysville, 25 minutes to Ducktown, TN for thrilling whitewater rafting on the Ocoee and 1hr 45 minutes from downtown Atlanta.
