This home was relaxing, comfortable, and we would definitely consider staying again. However, we’re giving it four stars instead of five because we felt a few essentials were missing. It would have been helpful to have basic items like trash bags, kitchen towels, updated pots and pans, food storage containers, mixing bowls, ample silverware, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and refilled hand soap and body wash.
Some areas of the home could also benefit from a refresh, such as the bathroom and kitchen rugs, as well as the carpet. While these weren’t dealbreakers, they are worth noting. Having cable TV throughout the home would have been a nice added touch as well.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay but believe a few thoughtful updates could take this home from good to great.

We used the house for a ski trip to China Peak. It was about a 35 minute drive to the resort from the house. The house was clean but there were a few things that show a little wear. It appears that some of the flatware has gone missing over time, so plan for that. The house was spacious and had more TVs than we used. Really quiet neighborhood We would definitely stay here again.

Lots of Room with two living area levels. Location in Granite Creek provides for large lots in the woods and a isolated jogging/hiking trail surrounding the subdivision

Other reviews said it needs tlc and they were right. The downstairs carpet is long overdue for cleaning. The outdoor furniture could use some updating, the grill was dirty when we arrived. It did have plenty of linens, the WiFi was better than expected. The hardest part of our stay is dealing with the call center for Vacasa. We come to shaver lake twice a year and we try to avoid the bigger companies due to lack of customer service. We rented this place because our family was in a rental directly behind us (the Pinnacle) however due to construction they canceled that reservation 2 days prior to our arrival. Not for an emergency but because construction wasn't complete which I think they should've known earlier than 48 hrs prior. Thankfully they found another rental through another company. Would love to rent this house again just not through Vacasa.
