About this apartment rental
When you walk in the door, you will see this is not just a beach condo. It is also our family's beach home and you will find it so much more of a home than your standard beach rental! I have been vacationing in Atlantic Beach for the past 30 years so please feel free to ask any questions you have about the unit or area attractions. Prior to and during your stay, I will also be available by phone, text and email to answer any questions you may have.
When you arrive at the condo, you will find luggage carts and grocery shopping carts as well as an elevator to make moving into the condo simple and quick. There is a screened sitting area in the front and a separate laundry room that has a full size washer and dryer. The condo itself is newly painted and freshly decorated. Luxury plank flooring throughout with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, fully equipped kitchen, separate wet bar, oceanfront screen porch off the living room and a separate oceanfront balcony off of the master bedroom. The master has a King size bed with a Queen bed in the 2nd bedroom along with a private half bathroom. The 3rd bedroom has a twin bunkbed and a Full size bed. The couch in the living room also pulls out into a full size bed. There is a large TV in the living room and TVs in all 3 Bedrooms as well as the kitchen bar area. All the TVs have cable as well as Roku sticks. WIFI is included. In the living room you will also find board games, playing cards, puzzles, DVDs, books, etc.
From the front door of our condo you are literally 30 seconds away from putting your toes on the beach!
At one end of our building is a picnic area with tables and charcoal grills and at the other end is a swimming pool and gazebo overlooking the beach.
Underneath the condo is a storage room you will have access to which has two adult bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, beach and pool toys, and outdoor games for the kids (and the grown up kids).
Directly across the street you have condo access to the pier and boatslips to keep your boat on the Bogue Sound as well as park your trailer. If you bring your boat, there is a public boat launch one mile away.

Our family enjoyed the convenience, views and amenities of this rental. It was well equipped and the owner was extremely responsive when I had questions. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time! The property had everything needed, owner communication was exact, location to the pools and ocean was a very short walk! Would love to book again soon!

The location was beautiful with nice beach access and, first floor walk up with luggage carts. The rooms were clean and tidy. The surrounding areas are great with amazing food and lots to do.
However, there were several issues. The listing showed sound, but that’s if you travel to another location if you want to fish, boat, etc. There is no wet bar as pictured, just a wine fridge with a countertop. We were sent parking passes when already traveling, told they had to be printed in color and to contact maintenance on arrival for assistance. Our check in was on a Sunday and there was no response from maintenance, I contacted the property owner and was told the maintenance people don’t work Sunday. We were then promptly confronted and belittled by the security officer who blew smoke in our faces and told me she would overlook it, but tomorrow we would be towed.
The property owner claimed he would come by with passes the following day but never came around. I got passes from maintenance myself.
Within the property, there are cosmetic issues expected with a rental, however the linens provided were 4 towels, 2 hand towels and 2 wash clothes and a few pieces for the kitchen for a 9 guest, 6 night stay. We were told that if we used the additional towels or bedding it wasn’t included and would need to be laundered and replaced.
The pictures show a nice pool and what you might think from the aerial is a hot tub. It is not. It is a shallow kiddie pool. we were provided a code to access the pool area, but when we couldn’t get in, I spoke to maintenance and was told that the pool wasn’t open for the season. We couldn’t even sit by it let alone use it. When I contacted the PO, I was told “I wish you would have asked” and that they just aren’t open that early. With the temps of the ocean it would have been nice to have information on the lack of a pool.
I had no issue with tidy and sweep on exit rules, but the cleaning fee was hefty for very limited linens, 2 1/2 small baths, and a less than spacious common area. There are a lot of TVs and rokus attached. The internet was reliable, but struggled with multiple streams. The screen porch was damaged and let bugs in and out.
Finally, we had a pest control worker stop by one day, the microwave didn’t heat and emitted a melting or electric smell. We had to accommodate and electrician, luckily we were safe but there was no microwave or hood. I was asked by PO to set the unit aside.
All in all, just ok.
