About this house rental

Remodeled old house in Larned, KS, now being used as a hunting lodge. Lodge available for rent in the off season. Two story home with three bedrooms. Fully stocked kitchen. House has everything you need. Location is great if you are in town for business or pleasure. Close to everything. House is clean and can sleep a large group. Would sleep two families comfortably for a weekend trip or cheap enough for a homey house for a business trip week where you could cook your own meals.

We love staying at this property. It’s a nice layout, great a/c, love using the kitchen, convenient to downtown and where friends live. Very spacious and nice.

It was an older home, but worked pretty well for all of us. My husband and I are 70, which wasn’t too bad for going up and down the stairs. All bedrooms were upstairs. The upstairs was all older and didn’t have central air, so it got pretty hot up there in mid June, even with the window air conditioning. Overall it was a pretty good property, and we were glad to have the room for our kids and grandkids.

Bathrooms need repair. Carpet needs replacing. Otherwise the furniture was comfortable and suited the lodge label. Washer and dryer were handy. It would be nice to have access to back door through garage for unloading luggage. Bath soap and hand soap would be a nice addition.
