About this house rental
If you are dreaming of escaping from the noise and bustle of everyday life – then let The Beach House welcome you. It provides your ideal Kangaroo Island accommodation where you are 30 steps from the beach, surrounded by bushland.
The Beach House embodies simplicity, comfort and a relaxing beachside atmosphere. With three bedrooms, it accommodates up to 6 people with a queen sized bed in the master bedroom, and two further bedrooms each with two single beds. The bathroom is off the back door but still under the main roof.
When it comes to dinner, there is a fully equipped kitchen or the BBQ just out the front to cook up your favourite meat (or days catch) as you gaze out over the Bay. It’s great to sit outside and sip a G&T watching the sunset, and then have your dinner around the outdoor table, swapping stories of your day’s adventures.
Amenities
The Beach House is well appointed and has:
• Large dining and sitting room overlooking the beach and bay
• TV, stereo with CDs, selection of books & a swag of old fashioned games such as Scrabble and Monopoly
• Slow combustion heater (wood supplied at no additional charge)
• Fully equipped kitchen with large fridge, electric oven and stovetop, utensils, cutlery, crockery, glasses, coffee plunger and teapot
• 3 bedrooms (one Queen and two with two single beds)
• All bed linen and towels provided
• Large bathroom with shower (bathroom is located off front porch through front door but still under the main roof)
• Front porch facing the ocean for sitting out while having your morning coffee
• A wrap around verandah for dining storing the beach toys you may bring with you, or for drying bathers, beach towels etc
• Baby cot & feeding stool (no additional charge - just let us know your requirements)
• Peace and tranquillity in abundance!

First impressions were disappointing with unpleasant odour throughout the house and terribly hard and thin mattresses.
Loved the proximity to the water despite rocks and weed.
