About this cabin rental
Our Cherokee cabin is the perfect getaway for friends and family – business retreats too. This 3-bedroom 3-bathroom WV log cabin is our smallest 3-bedroom cabin at 1225 sq. ft., it is 3 levels and sleeps nine in 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed and 2 twin beds. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There is a bedroom on each of the 3 levels and a bath on each level.
The living room area is small, cozy, and features a TV with basic Dish Network package, washer/dryer, DVD player, covered front porch features a gas grill, the private hot tub is located on a covered back deck. Cherokee is comfortably furnished with central heating and cooling.
The fully equipped kitchen has all major appliances, cookware and utensils you will need. All bed linens and towels are provided to help make your stay more convenient and enjoyable. We also include lots of additional amenities for your convenience such as coffee, tea, sugar, creamer, paper towels, foil and other items too numerous to mention.

Choose from the many year-round outdoor attractions nearby, the New River Gorge Visitor's Center, go whitewater rafting on the New and Gauley Rivers with our activity partners Adventures on the Gorge, nearby Winterplace Ski Resort for great snow skiing and tubing. Boating or swimming at Summersville Lake, hiking, golf, horseback riding, ATV's, fishing and just a short drive away from many State and National parks.

The master bedroom is stinky with toilet smells. You have to keep the temperature very low and air moving to get rid of the smell. But this makes the basement very cold. The basement window does not have curtains. We have to use bath towel to block the windows in order to have privacy. The showers in the attic and in the basement bedrooms are small like cruise ship cabin size bathroom. The shower in the master bedroom is decent size.
Overall, I expected a little bigger sized cabin for 6 people. It's hard to tell from the pictures posted. But the cabin does have plenty of towels, 2 rolls of paper towels, dish detergent, coffee, seasoning, plates/cups/utensils, etc. Those are nice. No laundry detergent, though. The cabin is well kept and maintained and clean. Easy check in and check out process.
