It had 4 rooms and 3 bathrooms

It was out dated and smells musty. Every floor creaked when you stepped on it. The upstairs sounds like it’s going to be downstairs any minute when walked on. The coffee makers took 15 minutes to make coffee. The ac doesn’t work well at all. upstairs stays hot all the time. The air downstairs was hit or miss. They have a lot of mice. The pool table they have is in the master bedroom upstairs so people can’t play like they wanted to.

Was hoping to see a bear but no luck it’s fine we will definitely be booking this property again. I saw that there was a comment book on the counter I couldn’t find a pen lol but I hope this msg finds the owners.

Only problem we had was missing the Shooting Star sign at check in because it was dark. I would suggest getting bigger sign it’s almost covered by trees. And As much as we appreciate the big space I think there should be some type of curtains up downstairs. No windows are covered except bedroom downstairs.

I liked the spacious area

Upon arrival, I had to call customer service to get into the house just to find out the power was out. She said should be back on soon, yet 3 hours later it wasn't. I started calling them @ 5:19pm. with no answer. Stayed on line approximately 10-15 minutes each time. Called 3 different numbers, left messages twice, called 7 different times. Other than no power, we had no water, so we had no way of keeping our food cold, no way to use the toilets, take a bath, we had no way of back up power and couldn't get in touch with anyone to assist us. So we finally decided to go get a room elsewhere. Finally around 8:45am was able to get in touch with someone to ask for refund for rooms we had to rent to keep food from ruining and to be able to take a bath or use the toilet, but was denied. Had 4 couples from 2 different states meeting to have a nice time, 2 couples didn't feel safe going back, and neither did my husbandandI, nor the other couple, but my husband and I plus another couple couldn't afford to be out another 400.00+ for our stay in hopes they would give a refund. Very disappointed, will not be staying there again. I feel they should have reimbursed us for at least the first night, but was refused. Second night, we got into the hot tub, and it was filthy, had no chlorine tabs in the floater and the filters needed to be changed, didn't get back in. Got up Sunday was snowed in, had to call to get the driveway cleared after we asked about that possibility after we spoke to someone on the second morning. The people that came said it should have already been taken care of. We didn't get to spend time with our friends from the different state as we had planned as they stayed elsewhere. Disappointed is an understatement!

A Cozy Mountain Hideaway

We loved it was spacious and comfy. The hot tub a lot of fun. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. Lots of seating for big family gatherings. It was a super stay.

The beds were not comfortable, and there were no extra towels or wash rags.
