DOURWIN Exclusive Suites & Restaurant - Adults Only

A lovely location with clean, comfortable accommodation and excellent value for money. The staff were welcoming and helpful, with a special thank you to Liliana and Amanda for their kindness and attentiveness. We really appreciated the care shown to us and would happily return.

Quite steep for parking and quite difficult for my wife who has difficulty walking at times due to an existing condition, although thats a personal issue not a hotel problem.

Attention to detail and the staff were very helpful. Delicious food in the restaurant. Excellent location overlooking the Douro river.

Nothing not to dislike

Dourwin really is an exclusive retreat. The room was very spacious, extremely comfortable & very tastefully decorated. The fact there are only 6 rooms makes the pool & sunbathing area feel very private & exclusive. It has amazing river front scenery. The staff are very professional & friendly. They made us feel very welcome & always had great food & drink recommendations. The food itself is exceptional, with amazing choice. Being in a remote location, it was great having the restaurant on site so we could truely relax & unwind. We love the scallops so much, we ordered the same again the next day.

Nothing, everything was exceptional!

Great facilities and incredible views. Liliana was a great support and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. Great breakfast

Unfortunately, the restaurant service was disappointing. There was a mistake with our order, and although the main dish was eventually replaced, the sides were left on the table and had gone cold by the time the correct dish arrived. We ended up having a grilled steak instead of what we originally ordered but were still charged the same price. It’s a shame, as this experience overshadowed what could have been a truly great stay and the great food overall. I would assume that the restaurant staff would pay attention specially to guests and in fact the complete opposite happened.
