About this house rental
La Merise is a two bedroomed converted barn, with one double bedroom, one twin, a kitchen, sitting room and dining area, and bathroom with walk-in shower. It has a private heated swimming pool, sun terrace and BBQ. There is WiFi, a TV and DVD player. Guests have the option of French satellite TV, English language programmes on Freesat. There is a washing machine and linen, towels and a welcome pack are provided, as well as cot and high chair if required. Situated in the quiet countryside but within walking distance of Villefranche d'Albigeois with all amenities including a small supermarket, boucherie, boulangerie and bars/restaurants. The beautiful Tarn valley is 10 minutes drive away, and the magical city of Albi, a UNESCO heritage site, is 20 minutes away. Castres, Cordes sur Ciel and Gaillac are all close by and Toulouse airport is just over an hour's drive. Visit the local markets, sample the local wines at the vineyards in Gaillac, explore Albi and the nearby towns, or just relax and soak up the sun around the pool.
We live in the house next to the gite. There is a comprehensive information pack and we will do our best to answer any questions or suggestions on places to visit. We will be happy to do this over an apero!
The gite is very private and is not overlooked. Guests have the entire upper garden to themselves, and this area includes the pool.
There are no hidden charges. There is no charge for cleaning, heating, bedding and no deposit is required. Please ask for rates for long stays.

Le gite de Marcus et Pippa est un havre de paix dans la campagne tarnaise. tout confort et avec du charme. Des propriétaires très accueillants et plein d'attention. Idéalement situé pour faire de belles balades.

Gîte très propre.
Environnement très calme en pleine nature, un grand jardin privatif avec la piscine uniquement réservé au gîte.

La Merise est un très bel endroit pour y passer un séjour agréable. Les propriétaires sont adorables tout en étant discrets. Ils ont fait de leur gîte un lieu où l'on se sent bien, au calme avec tout le confort et la beauté environnante et qui donne envie d'y revenir...
