This is a beautifully maintained home, fully furnished and detailed appropriately, which is why a fully refundable Security Bond of $500 is required. This is held by Vrbo and repaid by them to the Guest after Check-Out, although the Property Owner is entitled to deduct any reasonable and lawful costs incurred as a result of the Guest not adhering to the following Agreement.
THE GUEST AGREES WITH THE PROPERTY OWNER:
1. To maintain and leave the premises in a clean and tidy condition. If not, then additional cleaning may be charged at cost.
2. That the premises will not be used for any purpose other than as residential accommodation and that no more than the number of people specified in the Guest's email application will be residing.
3. STRICTLY no parties or functions or gatherings of any kind are to be held without the written consent of the Property Owner.
4. That the Guest or anyone on the premises during the Guest's stay will not cause a nuisance or annoyance to neighbours by loud noise or offensive behaviour or language.
5. That should any of the rules 2, 3 and 4 above be broken, then the Property Owner or his agent is entitled to re-enter the premises and on their own appraisal, may elect to provide a warning or to terminate the stay immediately without owing compensation to the tenant
6. To pay the cost of repair or replacement for any item(s) damaged or damaged by furniture been moved around on the property.

My mother turned 90 in October in Lindisfarne, Tasmania so my wife and I decided to find a house in the Hobart area to take the whole family from Perth WA to celebrate. We were a party of 8 adults and 7 children (aged 5-14) and the house at Old Beach looked as tho it would accommodate all of us. It surpassed our expectations. So much space - living areas upstairs and down enabled us to have some adult time separate from the kids; bedrooms and beds galore; a huge entertainer’s kitchen and massive dining table - where we catered a lunch for 21 people comfortably; a magnificent master suite; multiple balconies; and spectacular views from the floor to ceiling windows. The property ran down to the river - there were rabbits, water birds and even a couple of seals visited. The Old Beach path was just outside our door for walks, and the house was only 15 minutes from Hobart.We had the most incredible week and I can’t recommend the house highly enough. A huge thank you to our host Mark.

This was a great place that easily accommodated our group of three families. It was on a beautiful property with a great walking path, the kids loved watching the geese in the water, and exploring the riverside. The kitchen and dining areas were a good setup to cook for our whole group of 14 people, with plenty of refrigerator space for groceries. We were close to town but still out far enough to have plenty of space. Our host was very communicative and checkin and checkout were super easy. It was great to open the windows and let the breezes come through, wish we could’ve stayed longer!A couple of notes- one of the smaller bedrooms has a large opening above the door so doesn’t totally seal off from the hallway, and bring all pantry items beyond coffee, sugar, salt and pepper.It’s a lovely house!

The property is located on a beautiful bend in the river and we shared wonderful family dinners there. Plenty of space and well-stocked, it was a great stay.
