The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We had a replenished array of breakfast foods everyday. The location was convenient.

Proximity to town centre which involved a short walk along the beautiful foreshore. The flat was meticulously clean. It was cleaned every day.
Owner helped me with organising a day trip on a yacht. It was a stand out for me as I was holidaying solo and met some really wonderful people on board the boat.
I was very grateful to him for carrying my suitcase up the stairs to my flat and also downstairs at the end of my trip. Because it was raining he also drove me to the ferry.
I should have spoken up as I was there for 12 nights but the same type of cake was delivered every day. A little variety would have been nice.
In saying this the breakfast was extremely generous.

The flat was functional and close to the harbour so handy when arriving with the ferry. Staff were helpful and responsive.
The venue was advertised saying “all our flats have a balcony or terrace”, and that there are “outdoors seating areas”. The description of the flat did not mention these, but as it was said all flats have it, we of course assumed this was the case. However, the flat was in the base floor, no balcony nor terrace, not much any view from the windows except a fence and a road. Outdoors seating area was merely a bench in the corridor outdoors facing a tall fence, so one didn’t really feel like sitting there. I discussed this with the host, and they said the text was auto-generated by booking. I think this is a lame excuse. Also noticed after that someone else has already pointed out the same problem, which clearly had not been fixed. The cleaning staff piled up all towels next to each other on the hooks so that it was impossible to know whose towel was which, that was a bit annoying though I appreciate the green policy not to change very much. But then maybe just better leave them where they are.
