Some inconvenient but overall nice

Breakfast was really nice!

Having only 2 shampoo for 2 people for 2 days. Not being able to order a drink past 22h even if the waitress was there. After the first night, they forgot to replace a towel we let on the floor. I tried to call 2 times the reception when we were out the second night but no answer.

Loved my stay at Hotel Post

Totally enjoyed my stay at Hotel Post, it exceeded my expectations given that it's very good value for money. My single room faced onto the mountains, what a view! I loved how scenic it was and watching people cross country skiing. The room was basic but was clean and comfortable - perfect for me! Good wifi throughout the hotel was a bonus and another big plus was the close proximity to the bus stop which made it really easy to get around. Received the complementary Winter Card which gave a 50% discount on the bus journey and vouchers from the hotel for welcome drink, cake and drink, robe and other things I can't remember but a very nice touch. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and as mentioned breakfast had a large selection and was very good. I would stay here again.

Not a problem for me, but the hotel may be a little dated for others. Only niggle I had, and it's nothing really, was there was only two channels on the TV in English and both of those didn't work on the TV in my room - I'm pretty sure if I'd bought it to the attention of the hotel they could have sorted that out.

The parking lot was full and there was nowhere to park the car, it had to be parked in an unauthorized place. Employees do not know English well.

not so kind and frustrating

Awesome place, strategic position for trails and mountains attractions.

most of the staff didn’t speak a single word in english. we were treated like lower ranked guests just because we paid for the accommodation without the “all inclusive” surplus. for example: we asked to pay for our breakfast, wich was not included, and in our reservation was clearly mentioned we could buy breakfast for 12€ pp they charged us 14€ and only after few arguments they finally charged the right price. same for buying a beer: we waited 10 minutes at the counter, while the bartender was ignoring us and joking with his colleagues, to finally have the opportunity to pay for it. it is so frustrating when you have to argue even to buy a coffee.

The location is great, the view from the room was excellent with a balcony to enjoy, summer card is included. Great for a stopover just for sleeping and driving to the next place.

could not find the employees at the reception when arrived, had to look around for someone at the busy restaurant who had to look for someone somewhere. Also, was nobody at check out... room was a bit noisy

Cozy but smoky

The view and how easy it was to get there and prak. Also that it was pretty calm and not noisy. It was a very cosy place, breakfast was good.

It said non smoking online and at the hotel, we stayed in a building across from the hotell itself and it reaked of tobacco smell in the building and a lot in our room, so we had to air it out for a long time to be able to stay in there at all. And there was some mold here and there. This is and old place, and has its charm. But for the price we payed it was a bit sad that it was like this.

The location is good, viewing the mountains from the balconies on rooms. Food was very nice.

Parking is a problem. Not enough space at hotel and alternative public parking some 300 metres away. Reception very slow. Elevator very small and aging. Rooms aging, bathrooms very tiny especially shower. Beds too soft with hard wooden edge.

Parking spaces not enough at hotel, needed to park 300 metres down the road. Rooms are in urgent need of upgrade. Bathrooms especially. Beds not really great. Water was not available in one of our rooms occasionally, plumbing problem.

The breakfast had excellent choices of all types of food to satisfy just about all who would eat there. The layout of the food regards access was also vg.

Very little to be honest apart from no secure storage for luggage prior to checking in and after checking out and actually departing the hotel etc.

Very clean and compact hotel with really good food.

The room was cleaned every day, the whole hotel was really clrean! The meal was perfect: lots of choices, fresh food, they think of everyone. Schladming Planai is 6 km far from the hotel, you can go by car or by skibus. The hotel is not modern but you will get everything you may need. We didn't use the "wellness" so i can't write any review about it.

Breakfast was as expected, variety of hams, cheeses, sweets, drinks,... The view from the balcony was amazing, directly on the mountains Easy to find, hotel is located next to the road, parking place was full but we were always lucky to find some spot

Room was not prepared when we arrived, we opened the door and there were old bad sheets on the bed and old towels in the bathroom. Receptionist did not mentioned it when we picked up our room keys. Just after we came back to the reception, she told us that they are shor on stuff and we have to wait. Equipment of the room and whole interior is old, mainly in bathroom neglected. It is horrible to ask so much money for such a room.

great view from the balcony. the whole interior is quite old and outdated but our room was clean, so it's fine. Bus stop in front of the hotel is convenient.
