Spacious 5BR Getaway – Pool, Patios & Fun

Great house and location, accommodating hosts.

Great house for the Derby with room for 10. Very clean. Great linens. Hosts were fantastic.

This vacation rental was excellent for our college reunion. Spacious backyard was lovely. Review questions indicated that this is a lakefront property, but it is not.

Overall, we had a nice stay, but there were multiple issues that we encountered and communication with the hosts was poor. The front lawn was so overgrown, that you could not even see that there was a house from the street with the exception of the mailbox with house number. There was no house information to be found, like how to control the air or televisions, as well as no information about the pool. There were multiple AC units in the house and thermostats were set on schedules causing the house to get extremely hot multiple times a day. The TVs and electronics were all unplugged and no batteries in remotes. There was no microwave to be found. The pool vacuum was left out in the pool and plugged in. The cord was going across the patio causing a hazard for someone to trip. The pool pump was not working appropriately, leading to over an hour spent of our time working on it so we could swim. There were multiple grills available, but both were extremely dirty and we had to spend over an hour cleaning before being able to use. We tried calling and sending messages to the hosts multiple times throughout our stay to discuss all of this and received no return phone calls and hours of delays in even getting a return chat message.
