My family and I had a wonderful week at this cottage. It is perfectly situated for exploring all the historic and modern sites and places of interest within central scotland. Short drives to both Glasgow and Edinburgh. The big bonus is the two fishing lakes onsite, so don't forget your fly fishing equipment (like I did ) I did manage to get a few hours in at the end of my holiday. All in all a very good relaxing holiday was had by all,and yes we will return sometime in the near future.

Jim who is the owner was great. Any time we had a question or needed something he was available to give us guidance. The property was beautiful. The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there very much. It was really nice being out in the country but very easy to get to food stores and the cute town of Linlithgow.

Jim is very friendly and his property was in excellent condition and spotlessly clean. It’s only about a ten minute drive from the center of Linlithgow and so very accessible to many places in Central Scotland. The view from the cottage was quintessentially Scottish - rolling hills and sheep! The drive up to the cottage was a little like a ride on a wooden rollercoaster so be prepared!

The cottage is in a lovely quiet and convenient location. However, we'd like to note that both the ironing board and airer were broken, and no hairdryer was provided. The host was very friendly, but we feel he could pay more attn to detail prior to a let.
