The apartment was in a terrific location and was spacious and comfortable. It was a terrific base for a holiday and much more comfortable than a hotel room.

The apartment was quite expensive and the charge warranted a higher level of service. Comparable properties in other European cities are better appointed (e.g., this property did not have a dishwasher). Also, consumables like coffee pods and washing machine tablets are usually regularly replaced in other properties we have stayed in. We were also required to take out our own rubbish at the end of our stay--that was by no means a big deal but it did seem petty given the price we were paying.

The apartment itself is great. The location is amaazing. My stay provided me reference points for my subsequent trips to the area.

The address advertised had no door and was not the actual address. A typical Athenian building with the entrance door that bangs when it falls into the lock. Restaurants galore under the window, loud restaurant music and restaurant guests talking excitedly until 3 am. But I knew that. The shower was not particularly hot. ZERO sound-proofing. Not only one could hear people BREATHING in the apartment above, there´also was a small CHILD jumping up and down and running around. I am not sure why the apartment is rented out for the price they charge at all. The host, so forthcoming when I needed to pick up the key, was not interested in my feedback and did not reply to my last WhatsApp messages on the check-out day.
