Nestled in a pecan orchard in the Texas Hill Country, the Sage cottage is the perfect spot for a family or small group. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, dining area, and a living area, the cottage provides the comfort of your own home. The cottage is wheelchair accessible and features a bathroom with a roll-in shower. All the basic necessities such as linens, towels, paper goods, ect. are provided and the property is fully staffed which means that housekeeping is also included. The Haven's 23 acre property includes an outdoor pool, pond, gazebo, as well as the Guadalupe river which winds through the property. With just a short 20 minute drive to Fredericksburg, it makes the space the perfect place to stay!

This area is absolutely beautiful. As we drove in at 3 in the morning, a large number of deer ran across the property and it was absolutely magical. It overlooks Texas hill country and a short walk down the hill at the property takes you to the Guadalupe. The house was clean and had everything we needed. I can’t wait to come back!

My little family (2 adults, a 4-year-old and a dog) had a wonderful time at our cabin! We loved walking to the river daily for the views and exploration, and then being able to splash and have fun in the pool. The cabin was very comfortable - I was impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the cabins, especially after experiencing some older run-down cabins on other vacations. Please note that there is no TV, which was a plus for our family. We were able to spend lots of quality time together outdoors, as well as playing cards, board games, coloring, etc. indoors. If you plan to cook, I recommend bringing most of what you need - there are basic pots and pans and a couple cooking utensils. We were able to make due with that and some extra items brought from home. My son already wants to go back. We would definitely go again and seems like it could also be a great place for a larger family trip or even family reunion if the main house is available.

Great set up

We appreciate having the privacy of two bedrooms for our family. The girls were able to feel at home in their own room and then had a blast staying in their grandparent's cottage one night. It's so nice to have a kitchen with a full size fridge when traveling with little ones. Lots of wide open spaces for running around, and spaces for sitting and chatting.

The home was quaint and charming! A 10 minute walk down to the river, which was really pretty! The property was pristine. My only complaint was the living room could use one more chair and maybe a throw blanket.

Beautiful grounds overlooking the Guadalupe River, our cottage was a quiet comfortable, and clean setting....and very good coffee served in the morning in the main inn. Thanks to the staff at the Inn.
