About this house rental
Valley View Escape began as a vision to restore a 130+ year old farmhouse. Years after completion and enjoyed by friends and family, it was evident this treasured historical home needed to be shared and enjoyed by others. The house sits on a hill surrounded by a 500 acre farm and overlooks the valley while distant mountain ranges provide a serene backdrop. The wrap-around porch with captivating views are idyllic for coffee lovers, conversationalist, book lovers and perfect for a game of checkers. Inside you will find much of the home with original floors and walls. The original two staircases are still functional adding to the character and charm. Downstairs consist of master bedroom opening to a screened in porch, 1 ½ bathrooms, kitchen, dining area, and hallway with staircase, living area and additional dining area. Upstairs consist of bathroom, 2 bedrooms and 1 large room w/ 3 beds. Scattered throughout the property you will find quaint rustic buildings and old farm equipment adding to the historic theme along with the perfect setting for a campfire and smores. You will find plenty of activity within 20 miles or you may find yourself perfectly content enjoying the captivating views from the front porch.
