The lady who ran the accommodation was absolutely fantastic. She always tried to accommodate us, even when she didn't have to. For example, we arrived by train around 12:00 and check-in was only at 15:00 and the lady allowed us to put our suitcases in the accommodation right after arrival and walk to the cleaning lady to prepare the accommodation. Communication in English was not a problem at all.

Very cozy, very nice furnished and equiped with everything you might need. An amazing host, great english speaker and a kind person. Very close to the center of Rijeka, to shops and restaurants.
The biggest problem was the parking. There are almost no free parking spots in the area and those that are of charge are almost always occupied. Cars get picked up if parked random and you could search for an available spot for even half an hour. The apartment is at the 5th floor in an old building with no elevator, quite hard to reach with a lot of luggage. Also no balcony, wich might be an inconvenience for smokers (wich was not our case)
