El Marinero

La casa en general está decorada con buen gusto y es acogedora, tiene todo lo imprescindible para una estancia. La tranquilidad de la zona, la facilidad de aparcamiento muy cerca, la terraza. En general recomiendo la casa, que que está muy bien por ubicación y lo agradable del espacio y su tranquilidad durante todo el día.

Las ventanas no aíslan muy bien y no hay persianas, así que entra la luz muy pronto y no aísla bien del viento que es una constante en la isla, como se sabe. Nada grave pero a tener en cuenta. Creo que a nivel de gestión vacacional el servicio es mejorable: para 8 días y 2 personas nos dejaron solo una toalla de manos/cara, no había ni un trapo de cocina ni mantel (solo unos individuales). En toda la estancia no nos contactaron para saber si estaba todo bien o faltaba algo pero el último día nos enviaron mensaje para reforzar la hora de salida y preguntar si saldríamos antes.

Excellent apartment with all mod cons. Great facilities and lovely pool. Gated complex with code for security. Lovely place to sit out at the front or on the balcony.

Address was given as El Marinero but it is actually Las Marinas. Taxi brought us to wrong address luckily we met a lovely local man who was extremely helpful in finding us the right address. Unfortunately we had to walk uphill for 10 minutes with cases to Las Marinas. A bit far away from restaurants and bars than expected. Had to use Taxi's or buses every day. As it was a uphill track when walking. It might suit younger people but we're in our 60's.

Pros. We liked the complex and the outside space was lovely and sunny. The kitchen was well equipped and a lovely big fridge with a freezer. The CD player was great too.The bed was very comfortable Cons. The property generally is quite grubby corners and edges of rooms are dirty. The furniture is very bulky and takes up room that could house something more modern. The unit in the kitchen is pointless . When we booked it was advertised to have UK tv but it didn’t, we took our fire stick but it was limited. The bedroom is quite claustrophobic as a huge wardrobe and another useless unit take up valuable space where something more modern and clean would store your clothes . There was nowhere to put toiletries and my clothes had to be stored in my suitcase. The bathroom was adequate but again grubby flooring. The window kept blowing open which made the room very cold. There is a fabric wall hanging behind the bed which we felt was quite unhygienic and unnecessary. Not sure how often it gets washed , plus a very grim rug on the floor in photo was not too clean either.
