This place has everything and is reasonably priced!

The location is amazing, and it’s set back from the road so it’s also quiet. The pool area is wonderful, breakfast is fabulous, beds are firm and comfortable, the hosting is friendly and stress free and there is a cute dog. What more could you ask for?

Wonderful place to stay

My boyfriend and I initially booked 9 nights but ended up extending for another 10. The homestay is nothing short of exceptional: the bungalows are well-furnished and tastefully decorated, the swimming pool is very clean, the garden is lovely, the breakfast is home-cooked and filling, the dog is adorable and the hosts are just delightful. The location is great as well. A wonderful place managed by wonderful, hard-working people. If you come to the Padang Padang/Uluwatu area, stay here: you won’t regret it.

Nice guesthouse in Uluwatu

Rooms were clean & spacious with nice balcony & bathroom. air con worked well. The pool was nice and there were lounge chairs and umbrellas available. Breakfast was good. Owner was kind and very helpful, and their dog is adorable! Fairly close to restaurants & beach with a scooter.

Short but sweet!

We stayed for 4 nights but could definitely stay longer. The property was lovely and clean! It’s in an isolated area but grabs were super cheap to get around, there’s a little market a minute walk away which was super ideal. Ulan and the whole family are the sweetest people and the breakfast was homemade and amazing with a nice selection to choose from. Couldn’t recommend this place more and would definitely come back!!

There was some construction noises in the day but that wasn’t an issue as we were out mainly in the day. Apart from that there really isn’t anything we didn’t like!

Perfect for longer stay. The bungalow is very spacious with many balconies and chill areas. We really enjoyed our time there and the host is super friendly and helpful. We even could have breakfast every day in our bungalow.

The bungalow was so nice, the ceiling was high and gave a luxurious vibe. The pool was open 24/7 but was really quiet. The breakfast was homemade and really yummy. Wulan took great care of me! The location is also nice, 10-15 min with the scooter to Padan padang beach. A supermarket and spa is on 1 min walking distance.

The towels were not fresh everyday, some times there was sound of the reconstructions.

Lovely stay!

My stay at Pondok Kembar Homestay was lovely! The bungalow was very nice and clean. The owner Wulan is very kind and was always easy to reach and very helpful. The breakfast was delicious, and the bed was super comfortable. All the facilities were excellent and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend staying here — I’ll gladly come back in the future!

Would definitely recommend

The host was super nice!! I had to leave in the morning before breakfast time and she made me a sandwich for on the way :)!! Also very good located on the main road, close to the center. With scooter everything was close and easily accessible!! And the breakfast was really big and good!!

We throughly enjoyed our stay, close to Uluwatu but far enough away to be out of the chaos. Wulan’s breakfasts are yummy and she is so lovely and hospitable. Pool is nice and clean. Bed was comfy.

Was very lovely and easy! Quiet and peaceful!

The property is very clean and well maintained!! Facilities were all in working order! As per uluwatu you need a scooter to get around so dont think you can walk to everything. The location is in a quiet spot! Ooran (apologies if thats not spelt correctly) is very helpful and warming! She does a very amazing job looking after the place! Highly recommend!

Comfortable home with wonderful hosts.

Location is very convenient and Armoni and Awula are just the best hosts. Super kind and considerate. I felt very comfortable staying in their home. The breakfasts are great and a nice included extra. Minor improvements needed but nothing major as it was perfect for what I needed as a solo traveller needing somewhere to rest.

Great room - Spectacular hosts!!!!!

The hosts are such beautiful people. I had no cash (only card) to tip driver on arrival. They covered the tip and I paid them back - helpful from the first to the last. Beautiful recommendations on places to visit and eat but also gave me enough space to do my own thing. Setting is very quiet and bed comfortable so no issues in terms of sleep etc. Good hot water in the shower which I loved. Pool was clean and seating comfortable. Not sure pictures in listing do it justice. Would highly recommend to anyone - as I said first up the stay is worth it alone to meet Wulan and Anemoni (sorry for spelling!). They were really wonderful to spend time with!!!

Minor things - a fridge in the room would be nice. Also description said 2 queen beds in room, it was one queen (tbh felt like a king!!) and what looked like a single (maybe king single). Not an issue for me but could be for others. Final - it was very rainy in my stay..... I think Wulan can control the weather so I blame her (joke!) 😂😎

Good property and great staff!!

The staff is lovely and the dog is the cutest!! So friendly too. Breakfast was great as well and they rented us our bike so we could get to places. The internet was pretty good too for working. Overall, I think it was great and I definitely look forward to coming back again sometime in the future.

The room has some small openings above the windows, so it's easy for mosquitoes to get in. Even the bathroom has the same thing. The blanket was a very thin sheet, could have been a better blanket. But everything else was pretty good 👍

I highly recommend this homestay for anyone visiting Uluwatu!

The location was quiet and peaceful, the pool area was beautiful. Armani and Ulan were wonderful hosts. They made sure guests were very comfortable, made breakfast for guests every morning and made me feel completely at home!

There was nothing I did not like from this homestay. Everything was amazing!

A peaceful stay in Uluwatu

Such a lovely homestay! Wulan is such a fantastic owner. The breakfast she cooked each morning was absolutely delicious and you get plenty of food. We rented a bike so it was only a 5 minute drive to nearby restaurants. The room was lovely, clean, spacious and the air conditioning was new. It was so quiet and peaceful at night time. Such a great place to stay when in Uluwatu!

Great location, quiet and pleasant budget stay.

Breakfast was good and had a few options to choose from. The location is fantastic and it is close to most of the best beaches and restaurants, but still in a quiet area. The host was lovely and organised a rental bike for us.

The bed in our room was broken unfortunately and also not very comfortable. Also noticed that our room had not been deep cleaned in awhile and overall felt a bit dusty and dirty.

Homely stay

We had such a lovely time staying with Wulan and Chiko. They both made us feel at home straight away. Wulan responded quickly with requests with a gorgeous smile, and Chiko greeted us warmly every day after being out and about. The pool is lovely and clean and inviting after a day out. There's even a little workout spot, including weights. The room was clean and the bed so comfortable along with the pillows. The location was perfect for us however you do need a scooter or Grab to get out and about. Wulan's banana pancakes are the best we've had in the three months travelling. They're so good and she makes two if you want. Wulan is such a sweetheart and really easy to talk to. We were lucky to meet Wulan's Aunty and Uncle during our time so the experience was very homely, and after travelling for three months it was just what we needed.

The room was lovely and clean and everyone was very welcoming. The location was perfect and was they even helped us to rent bikes to get around. The breakfast was delicious. The air con worked great and the room was big and airy. The bed was really comfy and clean.

The drains from the bathroom were a bit smelly at times so we just kept the bathroom door closed. The shower wasn’t very powerful either.

Nice homestay at a good location!

Armoni is such a friendly host! She always tried to help us with all the questions we had. She also has a very cute and friendly dog Chico. The room was clean with a good bed and everything we needed. There was good free WiFi. We rented a motorbike and there were a lot of beautiful beaches after only a 7-10 minutes drive. The breakfast was good! We took the delicious banana pancakes and a dragonfruit smoothie, you can also choose for some options with toast and egg.

The pool was not really clean, but it was good enough for a swim. Also the garden was a bit of a mess. There was a lot of noise from the construction works next to the homestay (but obviously, that is not something that they can solve). The shower was not the most convenient shower.
