About this house rental
Kick your shoes off and relax. Fully furnished, ground floor, single-level townhome with a casual, less fancy type of vibe in GATED NORTH PHOENIX COMMUNITY. Centrally located for fast access to just about anywhere. Open living space. Attached private double carport. Generous fenced rear yard with 20' covered patio. Pet friendly flooring and furniture. Property is near a busy street so traffic noise is present, but the superior space & privacy for the price have made it a popular choice for 15+ years. Just bring your personal items/supplies, everything else is here.
Internet Note - Internet service seems to be fine for most things and has been very reliable in recent years, but it isn't the fastest thing around.
Safety Notes - Primary living area is sunken a few inches so a slight step up and down is necessary and tripping is a possibility if care is not exercised. Also, the large perimeter plants in the back yard are oleanders and you’ll see them almost everywhere you look in this type of climate. Popular as they are for the year round greenery and privacy they provide with little care, they are also quite toxic to humans and pets if ingested. We are dog lovers w/two mini dachshunds who freely roam every inch of our property and we have three oleander plants in our back yard. The point is, the co-existence of pets, people and these plants goes on every day w/o incident, probably because oleanders just aren’t the type of taste treat that most pets or kids find tempting. That said, if you feel any members of your party might be dangerously attracted to them, please keep them out of the area unless you are able to provide supervision.

The house was exactly as listed. The covered and private patio was fabulous to enjoy morning coffee. The bed was very comfortable and we loved having covered parking. Rick is an amazing host.

Nice cozy place, comfy beds plenty of towels, shower had good water pressure. Gated community with a pool. Relaxed on the patio in the mornings and at the pool in the evenings. Some car noise from the road but not bothersome. Would stay here again.

Rick was very communicative and prompt. The house was extremely clean. My only concern was the comfort of seating in the living room. There was a recliner and a futon; the futon was not comfortable for sitting, especially for an older person. The description in the listing probably explained a futon and I didn't think anything about it prior to arriving. I understand that the owner is a dog lover and they like to accomodate guests that have dogs. It seems like it would be nice to have one other seating option, which could be covered with a protective/removable cover. Otherwise, everything was great. The kitchen was very well equipped with a lot of staples in the pantry.I was looking forward to using the patio more but weather wasn't agreeable to that. It is a very nice patio!Yes, I would stay again.

The neighbors in the neighborhood made us feel very unwanted. Blocked my car in the driveway, shined headlights in the windshield as to blind me just because he stated he didn’t know who we were. Did any ever rent here before…. I’m pretty sure they have.
